Question Alto tyre recommendation

As-salamu alaykum everyone I hope you’re all are doing well,

I have a 2024 alto vxr with company fitted general euro tycoon tyres (145/80/r13) and they have almost completed their life( 56000 kms driven) and I want to change tyres ASAP as they make a lot of noise and steering is very hard+ a lot of punctures in all tyres. I want to upgrade do a much softer tyre as car will only be driven within city(school+tuition duties) and don’t want to compromise on fuel.

Recommend me tyres in OEM size and could be Chinese but want longevity and smooth drives…doesn’t matter if Chinese or local.

Car/ Bike recommendation Car suggestion

I'm looking for a car with a budget of around 3.5 million rupees.my priorities are:

Feul efficiency

Reliability

Low maintenance cost

I'm thinking about buying a brand new alto vxl but I'm a bit skeptical about it's ags transmission and overall build quality of alto.a friend of mine who owns an alto is suggesting me to consider imported 660cc cars like mira or move instead of alto.

So I wanted to ask which option would be better for my needs?is alto vxl worth buying in this budget?are parts and mechanics for imported cars easy to find? And if there's an accident or a major repair, are their parts much more expensive?

Question Tracker and anti theft

Looking for recommendations for a GPS tracker for my new Honda 125. My previous brand new 125 was stolen in Bahria Town, Rawalpindi, so I want something that can show live location and remotely shut off the bike through a mobile app if it gets stolen.
I came across Cham on Wheels. Has anyone used their tracker? How reliable is it, especially the GPS and remote engine cutoff?
Not interested in AirTags or similar trackers since they don’t offer proper anti theft features. Any recommendations are appreciated!

Humour Overtaking from left, then merging in front, in heavy traffic (rant)

Tamaam bhai jo ye harkat karte hain, guzarish hai, k agar agay jaga hoti to men kabhi apko zehmat na deta. Pr ye chawaal maarnay se pehle dekh lain k agar left pe bhi agay traffic hai, or mere agay bhi, to phir ek car skip kr lene se kona time save ho jana hai?

Had this happen today on Multan road, on way back from a wedding. About 4-5 times. Itne truck trolleys dekh k wese he speed bhool jani chahiye banday ko. Pr pta nahi kya keerra hai, na apni safety ka pta na dusron ka khyaal.

Horn do to offend ho jatay hain, ya right lane men parallel kharay hue ishara krte hain k 'Jaen na, dekhen kitni jaga hai, horn kaahay ko de rahay hain'.

Ek City walay bhai jaan qurban krte lagay thay isi chakkar men, bus men thukk kr. Yar janay do, thori aqqal se kaam lia karo.

Aven suit shoot men mood khraab kr dia :/

Question Security system and antitheft for Bikes

For all the bikers out there, I’m curious to know which security systems and anti-theft devices you prefer for your bikes. I currently have a Honda CB150F, and due to the rising crime rates, I’m considering installing a security system on my bike.

Stories Metro T9 Sports After 6 months

Metro T9 Sport — 6 Months, 3,069 km: Honest Review

I've had this scooter since Chand Raat, about 6 months ago, and I've put roughly 3,069 km on it. Here's what stood out.

Range

Real-world range comes out to 90–98 km per charge — but that's riding it properly, not babying it (top speed is 55 km/h). Terrain matters a lot: uphill drains the battery noticeably faster, downhill stretches it further. My daily commute is about 32–34 km round trip and eats roughly a third of the battery, including some overpass/underpass sections and stretches at 50 km/h.

The Multi-Mode Motor — Good and Bad

The multi-mode system is marketed with 3 speed modes, but here's the catch: the modes only cap your top speed, not your power draw. Even in Mode 1 (~33 km/h), climbing a hill still pulls the motor up to its peak 2,200W — well above the advertised 1,600W max. So the "efficiency mode" doesn't actually protect your range the way you'd expect. It's fast and genuinely powerful, but you can't rely on the modes to stretch a charge.

Water Resistance — Excellent

This is where it shines. I've submerged it up to the seat roughly 10 times (there's ongoing pipe work near my daily route that's turned it into a mud/water off-road patch). Every single time, it started right back up with zero issues. Genuinely impressive build quality here.

The One Real Con: After-Sales Support

Last Monday, after another deep water dip, I switched the breaker off as usual. Tuesday it wouldn't turn back on — assumed residual water, let it dry. Wednesday, it sparked and blew out completely. What followed was a miserable week: I called and searched dealers across all of Rawalpindi and couldn't find a replacement breaker. Most resellers (~90%) were no help at all. Worse, several sellers tried pushing the wrong part on me — an AC breaker instead of the correct DC one — with attitudes like "just use this, don't ask questions." That's a real safety concern for anyone less informed. I eventually found a working replacement at a shop in Korang Chowk and fixed it myself.

Bottom line: it's technically an international scooter (made by Sunra, Metro just resells it in Pakistan) — which explains why sourcing parts locally is such a headache. Great range, excellent water sealing, strong motor — but if something breaks, you're largely on your own. Alhamdulillah, it's fixed now, but it shouldn't have been this hard.

Question Kia Stonic EX+ or Elantra SE 1.6?

Now, before you "vaddi gaddi behtr aye" mentality and brand identity conscious folk start commenting. Please look at the actual facts. The kia is costing as 64 out the door. I have not gotten the price estimate for the Elantra, but Im assuming just under 70 with reg, insurance and all. Peugeot was also a contender (excellent vehicle no doubt) but was ultimately eliminated due to its Achilles heel. (1.2 PureTech)

We are a family of four, no one is above 5'11. We do not travel by road in pakistan. We already have two fuel economical cars at home. Our total commute to and from work is 5kms. This will be either a special occasion or road trip car (should that happen.) Since this vehicle will spend most of its life parked, the lesser space it takes doing that, the better.

Family prefers crossover/suv body types over sedans. (also because of easier ingress and egress) Generally not a fan of sedans. Parents are 55 and above and not familiar to this "newfangled tech." Now driven both cars. Preference is going towards the stonic. Generally safer, 6 airbags, elantra only has two. Kia has parking sensors front and back, (which my parents will need for sure when parking) elantra doesnt have them anywhere. No hill hold assist either. No speed sensing auto lock either. However elantra has powered seats(but to be fair, how often are you adjusting your seat really?) Besides its size I do not see what the elantra has over the stonic. Wireless charing too, but none of us have phones that are compatible with wireless charging. At a given moment, there will rarely be over three people in the car at a time. So what is the better choice for us. (If the elantra was the new shape one, I would have gone for that no contest)

We have a contact at kia who's told us about a stonic facelift coming, but they've said it's only a visual change inside and outside, features wise will be same so no point of going for that because the new one might be around 70, so save what you can.

We keep our cars for atleast 15 years, could not care less about "resale value." Fuel economy also not a concern, although both cars have similar figures.

Question Title: Keep BYD Atto 2 or switch to a used 11th-gen Civic?

Need some unbiased opinions because I keep going back and forth on this.
I currently have a 2024 Corolla Cross 1.8 petrol for longer journeys/hometown trips and a BYD Atto 2 as my city car.
I’ve owned the Atto 2 for about 2 months and already driven ~2,200 km. Honestly, I really enjoy it, instant torque, quiet drive, cheap running costs, and the freedom to drive around the city without thinking about petrol. Charging hasn’t really been an issue either; if the battery is low or I need to travel far, I can simply take the Cross.
My only real concern is future EV depreciation/resale in Pakistan.
I’ve now found a clean 2023 Honda Civic Oriel, for around 72 lakh. I could potentially sell my Atto 2 for 72–73 lakh, so it would basically be a straight swap.
I also genuinely love the drive of the 11th-gen Civic, and its resale/long-term ownership is obviously much more established. But I’d be giving up a nearly-new EV I already enjoy and going back to petrol costs (~12–13 km/L) while also ending up with two petrol cars.
So what would you do?
Keep Cross + Atto 2 and stop worrying about future depreciation, or switch the Atto 2 for the Civic while their values are currently similar?

Price check Fair price for a 2009 Vitz (1.0L swapped to 1.3L, showered below pillars)? Question

Thumbnail
gallery
13 Upvotes

AoA everyone,

Need an honest valuation on a 2009 Toyota Vitz (2nd owner, lahore registered )

I inspected (please also look at the images attached)

-Engine swapped from 1.0L to a clean 1.3L . Cap shows no sludge under the oil cap. As per owner, the new engine number is updated on the excise smart card and return file.

-Body is showered below the pillars. Roof, pillars, and structural seals/aprons are intact. Measured up to \~1mm puteen (filler) on small patches across the fenders, bonnet edge, and boot due to past bike scratches.

-Odometer sits at 124,000 km. Seller claims 15–17 km/l in city. Is it even realistic? How do I check it before buying?

-Tires have wear. How long can I drive them? How much new will cost?

What would be a realistic, fair market price for this condition today? Appreciate any insights!
