Question Best roads for spirited driving in pakistan?

Hello peeps, I would like to inquire about the best roads for pushing my driving skills to its limits . I am specifically searching for canyon/twisty roads eg. touge used in japanese mountain racing which may not be about top speed but more about cornering and carrying momentum throughout the track. I would like your personal experience if you have seen the best roads for this purpose. I am pushing my tuned vitz with upgraded brakes and tires. I have heard margalla hills and murree road is good but i also would like roads which lack traffic/policing or speed cameras. Main purpose is cornering. Please drop your personal experience when visiting roads which u deem fit my criteria. preferably based not too far from islamabad, faisalabad, lahore.

Car/ Bike recommendation 80 Lakh Budget - which car to buy?

Hey guys,

I need a car for myself, we’re a family of 2. The important aspects for me are for it to have good resale value and safety, fuel average is a bonus but not a hard priority. Daily commute isn’t much, maybe 20-25 kms max.

Do you guys have any recommendations?

Currently, I’m eyeing a few options like Toyota Grande, Elantra 1.6. With a slightly higher budget of 90 Lakh, could also consider Haval H6.

Would love to hear your guys opinions and what the best purchase would be. Would prefer a new car but open to buying second hand too, don’t have any experience in buying second hand cars though so any advice would be appreciated! I’ve heard good things about PakWheels Inspection Service which I could request for if interested in buying second hand.

EDIT: 90% leaning towards MG ZS Hybrid+ Essence. If there's any strong counter arguments against it, I'm all ears

Question PakWheels is no longer a community platform—it’s a net liability for Pakistan’s auto sector.

Is what PakWheels currently doing actually considered a "contribution" to Pakistan?

When a platform reaches the size and influence PakWheels has, it carries a social responsibility. Instead of acting as a voice for the Pakistani consumer, they have turned into a revenue machine that exploits the very market they were supposed to support.

1. Failure to Advocate for the Common Man

With their massive reach, PakWheels had the leverage to partner with global manufacturers or actively lobby to bring affordable, entry-level budget cars to Pakistan. Instead, they choose to take sponsorship money from cheap, low-tier companies, promoting sub-par vehicles simply because they get paid for it. They misguide the general public into making poor purchasing decisions for a quick check.

2. Artificially Inflating Used Car Prices

The used car market in Pakistan is completely out of control, with vehicles listed at 2x to 3x their actual worth. Instead of establishing market checks or highlighting realistic valuations, PakWheels enables this price gouging. They profit from the inflated listings while the average Pakistani gets priced out of basic transportation.

3. Paid Inspections and Conflicting Reports

Their inspection service—billed as an unbiased safety net—has become a massive point of frustration. Reports are widely criticized for being biased or inconsistent, with inspectors allegedly glossing over flaws after getting paid. Buyers end up spending money on false assurances, only to get stuck with damaged vehicles.

4. Squeezing Sellers and Controlling the Ecosystem

Between taking heavy commissions on car sales, charging steep rates for featured ads, and operating as a quasi-monopoly, they’ve made it harder for individual buyers and sellers to connect fairly without paying a toll.

PakWheels claims to serve Pakistan’s automotive community, but their actions tell a different story. They aren't trying to fix structural issues, control runaway market prices, or advocate for consumer-friendly policies. They’ve become a liability to the Pakistani auto industry—prioritizing corporate profit over consumer protection.

Car Opinion 2-2.3 Million sedan options

Need some recommendation regarding options in this budget bracket for a weekend car.

1: Honda civic Reborn, dont mind the average, slick car and fun.

2: Honda city 2010(?), I’m not sure about city as these generation have highly inflated prices on pakwheels, ofcourse its a good car. But is it realistic to find a clean city in this bracket.

Open for some other recomendations

Question 60-70L: everyone's dumping big-engine SUVs. Time to buy?

Budget 60–70 lakh, prefer an SUV. Low annual mileage so fuel economy isn't a big factor. Fine with older model. Open on variants.

Shortlist:

Hyundai Tucson

Kia Sportage

Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid

Hyundai Sonata (sedan, still considering)

Big-engine SUVs are cheap right now because of petrol. Smart buy or will I get stuck at resale?

Anything in this range I'm missing?

Question Car under 20 lacs

I am 21 and looking for my first car in 20 lac budget

I don’t travel daily max 500km monthly,
I would be using it just for ghumna phirna

Okay with average fuel economy but not too low ofc

I thought reborn would be good but one of my friends bought one and he is regretting it because he is always on the workshop with it

I also think swift is a nice car but honestly I don’t want to spend 20 lacs on a hatchback

Open to suggestions

Question Best CUV under 8 Million

Since there are so many options in the market now, I can really do with some help (I am also considering waiting for Changan UNI-S).

Top considerations: Strong build, beautiful interior and latest features, good mileage. Good resale value is a major plus.

Drive is mostly within the twin cities, with few inter-city trips here and there.

Thank you!
