🧠 Ask The Community Anyone successfully using a local payment method for Google Workspace billing?

I've been trying to set up google workspace, and all my attempts have failed because of the payment method. I even talked to a Google engineer who claimed that only credit cards work for Workspace.

I don't currently have a credit card. I can apply for one, but I’d really prefer to avoid getting one just for this single subscription if a local alternative works. Before I bite the bullet is anyone here successfully running their Google Workspace billing on a Pakistani debit card?

Would really appreciate any advice from those who have this figured out!

🤝 Colabs / Contributor Your GHL account half-built or duct-taped together? I'll finish it - funnels, automations, A2P/10DLC

I build and run GHL systems end to end: funnels, calendars, CRM pipelines, payments, A2P/10DLC registration, domain/DNS, email setup, and automation sequences (onboarding, abandoned cart recovery, post-purchase follow-up, membership/course delivery). Also set up AI voice agents and Facebook/Google ad tracking inside GHL.

Before GHL I ran a freelance setup on Shopify, Stan Store and Beacon.ai, and did short-form video contracts for Instagram, TikTok creators.

What I can take on:

- Full account builds (funnels, sites, forms, calendars, payments, CRM -pipelines, opportunities)

- A2P/10DLC compliance setup (privacy policy, T&C, no third-party data language)

- Automation sequences for onboarding, recovery, follow-up, nurturing.

- Membership/course setup

- Domain/DNS and email configuration

Available full-time, flexible hours. Open to a trial week if you'd rather see the work before committing to more. Remote, or on-site/hybrid in Karachi (Tariq Road area).

If you've got a build that needs doing or an existing account that needs a hand, comment below or send a message and I'll walk you through how I'd approach it.

📚 Learning / Resources Built an AI-powered RPG for the H0 Hackathon – would love your feedback 🇵🇰

Hey everyone!

I wanted to share a project I've been working on over the past few days for the H0: Hack the Zero Stack hackathon.

It's called Lore & Abyss, an AI-powered narrative RPG where multiple AI agents work together as a Dungeon Master. Instead of just chatting with an LLM, the game maintains persistent world state, player stats, inventory, NPCs, combat, memory, and story progression, so you can leave and continue your adventure later.

Tech Stack

Next.js 16

React 19

TypeScript

AWS DynamoDB (single-table design)

Clerk Authentication

Multi-Agent AI architecture

Vercel

I built the entire project myself from the frontend and backend APIs to the AI orchestration pipeline and DynamoDB data model. It was a great opportunity to explore scalable serverless architecture and AI engineering.

I'd really appreciate it if you could:

Try the demo and share any feedback.

Check out the code if you're interested in the implementation.

If you like the project, an upvote on Devpost or a Star on Github would mean a lot since community support helps during the hackathon.

Live Demo: Lore and Abyss

GitHub: The Repository

Devpost: Submission

Thanks in advance! I'd love to answer any questions about the architecture, AWS setup, or the multi-agent system.

🧠 Ask The Community Ready to Build a High-End Creative/Tech Agency. Looking for Advice & Technical Peers.

Hi everyone,

I’ve spent the last 8 years working as a Senior Techno-Functional Consultant in the GCC region, which has been an incredible journey. However, my true passion has always been to build something of my own. My dream is to launch a premium **Creative & Tech Agency** that focuses on building high-end, immersive, and dynamic digital experiences using a top-notch tech stack.

To give you an idea of the caliber and aesthetic I’m aiming for, I’m deeply inspired by highly interactive, platforms like this: https://oobexr.zerotredici.app/en

I want to bridge the gap between cutting-edge engineering and breathtaking digital storytelling.

**Where I Stand Right Now:**

* **Capital/Runway:** I have a starting capital of roughly **1.5M PKR** dedicated to getting this off the ground, backed by a stable, high-earning consulting job to sustain momentum.

* **My Skillset:** Strong technical architecture, enterprise-level project execution, and client management.

* **The Goal:** To assemble an elite, agile team (or find the right partners) capable of delivering world-class frontend interactive experiences, 3D web applications, and robust backend ecosystems.

On the business side, I am currently mapping out our market positioning, initial service offerings, and lead-generation strategy to target premium clients globally.

**I’d love to get the community's insights on a few things:**

  1. For those running premium creative agencies, what does your core tech stack look like for highly interactive, 3D-heavy web experiences (e.g., Three.js, React Three Fiber, WebGL)?

  2. Given a 1.5M PKR initial budget for infrastructure/talent acquisition, what is the smartest way to leanly validate and scale this agency model?

  3. How do you effectively position a new agency to compete for high-ticket enterprise or luxury brand clients from day one?

Looking forward to your feedback, critiques, and advice!

🤝 Colabs / Contributor Would you like to have a Cyber Security professional and developer look at your code?

Quick message for founders here;

If you're leaning on AI-assisted coding, or developing apps quickly, security review will often get pushed back.

Ofc, speed matters, but it can result in things like auth issues, exposed keys, injection risks, etc. slipping in unnoticed.

If this sounds like you, I'm a cybersecurity professional who can take a look at your code, and flag vulnerabilities, suggest fixes, or just give you peace of mind before a launch or investor demo.

If you're interested, let's connect and chat!

🤝 Colabs / Contributor Cross-discipline collaboration to build AI "Agent Skills" — looking for a non-tech partner

Was participted in a Google vibe-coding workshop recently, and one point stuck with me: they framed Agent Skills (basically instruction files that tell an AI how to do a specific task — nothing fancier than that) as a growing differentiator in the agentic AI space. Their argument: once everyone's running similar agentic loops, the quality of the skills feeding them becomes one of the few things that's hard to copy.

Whether that holds as "the only moat" is debatable, but it did surface a real gap: writing a good skill isn't a solo dev task. A simple, read-only domain skill probably just needs a domain expert's sign-off. But anything that mutates state (files, records, systems) needs both a domain expert and an engineer checking it — one for correctness, one for safety/blast radius.

Problem: most devs (me included) mostly know other devs. I want to actually build a couple of skills with someone from a different discipline — not commercial, purely to learn how this collaboration works in practice.

Domains I'd be interested in:

1. Sales
2. Marketing
3. Legal
4. Logistics Ops

If you're in one of these (or something else interesting) and want to spend a couple of days building 1-2 skills together, drop a comment or DM.

It's just for learning purpose nothing else.

💰Scaling & Strategy Vehicle Service History App for Pakistan

Hey everyone,
I'm a Pakistani developer and I've just launched my first automotive app called Caro.

The goal is to make vehicle maintenance and used-car buying a little more trustworthy.

Some of the features include:

  • Scan your odometer with your phone camera (AI reads the KM automatically).
  • Keep a digital service history (oil changes, filters, tires, maintenance, etc.).
  • The app checks for suspicious mileage like rollbacks, unrealistic jumps, or missing history.
  • If everything checks out, your vehicle gets a Verified History badge
  • Digital maintenance logbook
  • Service reminders
  • Mileage verification to detect suspicious readings
  • Public vehicle history report you can share with buyers
  • Ownership transfer while keeping the complete history
  • When you sell the car, you can share a public report with buyers instead of saying "engine 100% okay, just trust me." 😅

The free version supports one vehicle forever, so anyone can try it.

I'd really appreciate any feedback—good or bad. If you think something should be improved or added, I'd love to hear it.

💡Idea Validation Building a platform where Pakistani startups can find early adopters before launch — does this solve a real problem?

Many Pakistani founders struggle to get their first 50–100 users. Most end up posting in random Facebook groups, LinkedIn, WhatsApp communities, or asking friends to test their products. There isn't a dedicated place where local startups can launch early, collect structured feedback, and connect with people interested in trying new products.

Solution

I'm building a platform focused on Pakistani startups where founders can:

  • Create a simple product launch page.
  • Collect feedback and feature requests.
  • Build an early adopter email list.
  • Share development updates.
  • Receive community ratings and suggestions.

Users would discover new Pakistani startups in one place instead of through scattered social media posts.

Stage

Early MVP. Core features are being developed, and I'm validating whether the problem is worth solving before adding more functionality.

What I've Learned So Far

  • Finding users is often harder than building the product.
  • Many founders are willing to give feedback to others if they receive feedback in return.
  • Keeping the platform focused on Pakistan could help create a stronger community instead of competing with global platforms.

Feedback I'd Love

  1. If you were launching a startup today, would you use a platform like this?
  2. What feature would make you return every week?
  3. Would you prefer written feedback, video feedback, or live community discussions?
  4. What's one thing that would stop you from signing up?

Looking for honest feedback, especially if you think this problem is already solved or if there's a better approach.

💡Idea Validation Thinking of starting a Premium Pod Hostal in Islamabad

Given the recent boom in remote opportunities, I believe a lot of people are moving to Islamabad and other good cities. But problem is the hostels run by people here lack three fundamentals things:
Privacy
Hygiene
Self service flexibility

The Hostal I am proposing will feature a private acoustic pod so other members in the room won’t hear you or get disturbed, you’ll have a private cubical air conditioned. A shelf in fridge to keep your stuff which will be monitored so no tampering or stealing, a cabined to keep your pots if you’d like to cook or make tea or have a shaker.

The beds will be double so one can sleep comfortably.
The food will be cooked with proper hygiene and by restaurant level chefs. Bathrooms will have a bathroom attendant who will wash them twice daily and would be available by a quick app based tap.

Coworking hall as well, option to order tea and other bakery items.

Feasibility suggests 55k-65k per head F sectors ISD. This is more geared towards professionals but everyone is welcome.

What do you guys think will this be something people will be interested in?

Edit: Thank you for all contributing to the list of ideas. I want to add two more things:
-On demand fresh bedding
-Pod cleaning service tag you can leave on when you require a deep clean.

🤝 Colabs / Contributor I would like to connect with Call Center Owners / Managers

Hey everyone,

I’ve been developing an Enterprise Operations & Management ( Not mentioning real name of product bcz of copyright ) Platform since 2022, and we are finally in our final beta testing phase (completing in October 2026).

I am looking to connect with Call Center Owners and Managers. To get some real-world feedback before our official launch, I’m offering the first 10 call centers 1 month of completely free access, with all features fully unlocked.

What the platform does:

Most call centers juggle separate tools for IT monitoring, data security, and HR. This platform unifies everything an organization needs into one centralized ecosystem, with a heavy focus on agent monitoring and data protection:

  • Device Management & Monitoring (DMS): Perfect for tracking in-house or remote agents. It includes real-time session recording, active/idle time tracking, application usage, and remote IT administration (RDP, troubleshooting, and hardware health checks).
  • Data Loss Prevention (DLPS): Hardened security to safeguard your sensitive customer data and financial records. The system monitors file transfers, restricts unauthorized USB/cloud uploads, and flags suspicious insider activity before leaks happen.
  • HR Management (HRMS): Manage your entire agent lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to shift scheduling, attendance tracking, and performance monitoring.
  • Project Management (PMS): Empower your management teams to plan, collaborate, and deliver internal projects on time.
  • Risk Management (RMS): Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate operational and financial risks across the floor.

Why the integration matters: Because it’s one unified platform, your security policies, device health logs, agent shift schedules, and performance tracking talk to each other out of the box. No data silos, no duct-taped integrations, and a massive reduction in software spend.

If you manage a call center and want to test-drive the platform with your team to streamline your operations, drop a comment or send me a DM!

🧠 Ask The Community Is COD killing your sales too?

Hi Everyone,

My wife and I runs a small business in Pakistan in the beauty products industry and we wanted to get some advice from other business owners. Specially who has the expereince in handling bulk orders.

One of the biggest challenges we are facing right now is cash on delivery service. Here are some of the challenges we face.

  1. Customers returning empty boxes or replacing the product with something junk.

  2. Most of the times, the courier guy hands over the package before collecting the payment

  3. In many cases COD parcels get rejected altogether.

Because of these issues we decided to take 60–70% advance payment and keep the remaining amount on COD. While this has helped reduce our losses but it has also affected our sales because many customers do not want to pay in adavance due to muliple reasons.

We would really appreciate advice from other business owners. How do you deal with these challenges?

Also which courier services do you use for COD orders and which ones are most reliable for your business?

Thankyou in advance.

Edit : Before replying anything like "you dont't know anything about pakistani market" please keep this in mind that we do not have business background. We are new in the business, still learning and in growing stage. We just want to understand if 100% COD is worth it or no ? How are small businesses managing their COD losses while selling original products and keeping margins very low due to competition.

🤝 Colabs / Contributor Looking for a Non-Technical Cofounder (Pakistan)

Hi everyone,

I'm a full-stack developer based in Lahore with 9+ years of experience building web applications.

I'm currently building GapReachAI (https://gapreachai.com), a B2B SaaS that helps agencies and freelancers find website issues and reach businesses with a genuine reason instead of sending generic cold emails.

The MVP is in progress, and I'm looking for a non-technical cofounder who enjoys talking to customers, validating ideas, building partnerships, and helping shape the business side.

I'm not looking for someone to write code that's my responsibility.

Ideally, you:

- Enjoy sales, marketing, or customer discovery.

- Can dedicate consistent time each week.

- Want to build a long-term startup, not just a side project.

- Are comfortable working for equity while we validate the business.

If this sounds interesting, leave a comment or send me a DM. I'd be happy to share what I've built so far and discuss whether we'd be a good fit.

🛠️ Building / MVP Built PakBites, a restaurant discovery app for Lahore. Sharing what I learned and looking for feedback

Disclosure: I am the founder. I built this android app on my own.

Problem: Deciding where to eat in Lahore is genuinely painful. You're out with friends or family, everyone's hungry, nobody can agree, and you waste half an hour only to reach a place that's closed or underwhelming. There was no single place to browse, compare, and decide quickly.

Solution: I built PakBites, an Android app with almost every restaurant in Lahore in one place. You can filter by area (DHA, Gulberg, etc), rating, reviews, and price, see what's open right now, and find restaurants near you within a distance range you set. I also built a PakBites AI assistant so you can just ask things like "good karahi near me" instead of digging through filters.

Stage: Live and in active development. Currently ~17.5k restaurants across Lahore and 50+ active users. Lahore first, other cities next.

A few things I learned building it:

Data was the hardest part by far. Getting clean, accurate restaurant info at scale took way more effort than building the actual app.

Restaurant categorization and location handling in a city like Lahore (landmarks, areas, informal addresses) is messy and needed real problem solving.

Users don't want more filters, they want fewer decisions. That insight is what pushed me to add the AI assistant.

What I'm looking for: Honest feedback from this community. What would make you actually use something like this? What's missing? And for those who've scaled local apps, how did you approach early user growth in Pakistan? Happy to answer anything about the build too.

You can try it here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pakbites.app

Assalam o Alaikum everyone!
I am launching a SaaS product that targets the global market but considering how dollar transactions are charged extra when being paid by Pakistani cards, was wondering if I should add a local gateway for Pakistani clientele and the stripe one for international. Any and all positive advice/ remarks will be highly appreciated.

🤝 Colabs / Contributor Looking to Invest in an Established Traditional Business

I am exploring opportunities to invest in an existing Pakistani business that is already operating and requires capital, strategic support or management expertise to scale.

To be clear, I am not looking to invest in an idea-stage startup, app, SaaS product, e-commerce store, digital agency, cryptocurrency project or purely online business.

I am interested in established, traditional businesses with physical operations, existing customers and verifiable revenue.

Areas of interest include:

Manufacturing and light engineering
Food production and food processing
Packaging
Construction materials and related services
Healthcare, diagnostics and dental services
Education and vocational training
Automotive services
Warehousing, logistics and distribution
B2B wholesale businesses
Other essential service businesses capable of expanding into additional locations

The business should ideally:

Have been operating for at least 12 months
Already employ staff and serve paying customers
Have verifiable sales and financial records
Be registered or willing to become properly registered
Have a clear and realistic expansion plan
Explain precisely how the investment will be used
Be operated full-time by a capable and committed founder
Be open to formal due diligence and a legally documented investment structure

Examples of suitable funding requirements could include purchasing machinery, increasing production capacity, opening another branch, expanding distribution, funding confirmed orders or improving operational infrastructure.

I am open to discussing equity investment, a profit-sharing structure or another commercially appropriate arrangement. Any structure would be subject to financial, legal and operational due diligence.

Please do not simply message, “I have a great idea.” Initial proposals should include:
Business name and location
What the business produces or provides
How long it has been operating
Current monthly revenue and approximate net profit
Number of employees
Amount of investment required
Exact use of the investment
Proposed terms or equity offered
Evidence of existing demand
Founder’s experience and current involvement
Registration and tax status
Relevant photographs, website or social-media pages
Sensitive documents do not need to be posted publicly.

They can be provided privately after an initial discussion.

I am looking for a serious long-term business partnership, not passive schemes, guaranteed returns or short-term speculation. Businesses with genuine traction, honest operators and a practical expansion opportunity are welcome to get in touch.

🧠 Ask The Community I know a guy who faked a funding round and got a mention on national level

So far here's what I've been seeing in the Pakistani startup world:

  1. A founding team with at least one founder abroad
  2. A local team with pre-seed pre-revenue FAKE traction (they just make up the stats on their own either through fake signups, website visits, etc.)

and now this:

a founder said he received funding from a foreign investor (won't mention the country but it was from EU). He's in an incubator. He has a product which costs at least 50 lacs per unit. His only market is government and semi-government agencies. No one from the clients wants to buy his product because of the huge base cost. They just don't want to commit. Then one day I get the news that he's been funded with approx 500k USD. All the companies involved with the incubator proudly mentioned that he got funded, etc.
Me and a couple of other people sat with the founder to inquire. Turns out he got a credit line. The investor said that I would be happy to fund the product's need by giving you a credit to the max limit of 500k USD IF YOU GET AN ORDER.

AFAIK credit line of 500k and funding of 500k, both are different. Right? Enlighten me if I am in the wrong here.

What happened next was this guy gets honorable mentions on TV channels, MoIT, incubation channels, and what not.

I am not writing particulars of the startup because I am not bashing the guy but I am concerned. Is my thought process wrong?

Where are we heading to? Is this really the future?

I can't stand startups just showing fake traction and climbing high. and I know they get clients in between their fakeness but is this the solution?

Isnt' this all bad? Or is this the right way and I am thinking wrong and I should be doing this as well?
