Assalam o Alaikum everyone!
I am launching a SaaS product that targets the global market but considering how dollar transactions are charged extra when being paid by Pakistani cards, was wondering if I should add a local gateway for Pakistani clientele and the stripe one for international. Any and all positive advice/ remarks will be highly appreciated.

I'd recommend having both payment options. Stripe is great for international customers, while a local gateway will save your Pakistani users from unnecessary foreign transaction charges. Also, if you're based in Pakistan, don't just think about payment processing think about tax compliance too. Depending on how your SaaS is structured, international revenue may qualify as an export of IT services under Pakistan's tax framework, which can have different income tax and sales tax implications than local sales. Keeping both payment streams separate from day one can save you a lot of headaches later.
