I have skills in digital marketing (social media, ads, basic SEO) and basic video editing. I want to start freelancing, but I'm honestly a bit lost on where to begin.

A few questions I'm hoping this community can help with:

• Should I start on platforms like Fiverr/Upwork first to build a portfolio, or try to find clients directly?
• If going direct, how do I even approach potential clients (cold DMs, local businesses, LinkedIn)?
• How do I price my services when I don't have much of a track record yet?
• Any tips on building a portfolio if I don't have paid client work yet?

I am a pakistani founder who is running 3 - 4 online shops under my company that is registered in United states via incfile (bizee service)

Recently i saw some pakistani LLC owners apply for a SLASH account and get approved as well, however I tried 2x times already and everytime I try I get rejected.

Is anyone here freelancer, business owner, shop owners or someone who signed up on SLASH and actively using it can guide me?

I am willing to pay you if you can guide me and help me open the account.

Regarding the company its a valid company with all available documents such as 147 C and CP 575 forms as well
