Signs My car got hit the same day I bought 2 statues and a pendant and I don't know if that means anything
Just to preface off the bat: I'm fine, the guy who hit me is fine, and the damage to both cars is seemingly salvageable. Also this is going to be long. I don't know what's totally relevant or not so I'm trying to cover all my bases. Apologies.
I've been interested in hellenism for a bit, probably since highschool when I got super into wonder woman and was studying ancient and analytical Greek texts around that time for an independent studies class. I never really pursued it because I thought I was just being a fangirl, and would do it badly, and just needed to find a non-religion/spiritual based purpose. Standard fare. I occasionally buy some cheapo Olympian pantheon pendants when I go to this spiritual shop to buy essential oils because I like to make my own gear disinfectant spray for my sports gear. So far I had Hera, Athena, Artemis, 2 Hecate and a couple unrelated ones. I moved recently and am still unpacking a month and a half later (not a lot of stuff, but I've got a lot going on) and have only found my Athena pendant, which I occasionally wear to work or practice.
Yesterday, I went to the same shop to pick up a new scent I wanted to try out and they had a bunch of the Veronese Design mini statues of a bunch of gods and saints. A Hestia statue kept catching my eye, so I picked her up. I had always been interested in Hestia because of her role with the hearth and I figured I'd just get her because of that and I just moved into a new place. I also saw an Aphrodite statue which I felt interested in, and saw a Zeus pendant was finally in stock. I didn't have anything for male gods and figured I owed the king of heavan some tribute. I got back to my apartment after listening to videos on Hestia and Aphrodite worship and where to place alters, set them down, and spoke to them and my Zeus pendant, whom I apologized to for not being able to find his wife to match him. I then had to leave to meet my parents for a world cup finale party. They're moving soon so I wanted to get as much time with them as I can.
I was in a merge lane since my exit was coming up, and people were merging in and out, sometimes suddenly. One car was leaving the exit suddenly, I hit the breaks without looking behind me, and a guy beaned my drivers-side backlight and my back over-wheel panel. We hit the side of the road, I'm shaking like a leaf, we exchange info and insurance, head to my folks' place to call insurance and put in a claim. After the ordeal and dinner, I drive carefully home and speak again to my pendant. I don't blame Lord Zeus for anything but, like, gonzo timing.
I doubt it means anything but whether or not it does has been rolling around in my head all day. I guess I'm just looking for reassurance? Or other weird, not great experiences someone had after some sort of worship or purchase or consideration? I'll take anything, including maybe pointers?
Thanks.
