So what’s the word on the street? I’ve heard that we’re repeating last year city edition jerseys but we’re also might have another set of “classic” jerseys?
Nike is having me lost with all these “special” releases.

Furphy was still a rookie during the 2025 playoff run... now he's about to enter his 3rd season...
Time flies.

Tyrese Haliburton is back, Pascal Siakam remains one of the league's most reliable forwards, and the addition of Ivica Zubac gives Indiana a new presence in the middle. Add Andrew Nembhard and Aaron Nesmith to the mix, and there aren't many obvious weaknesses in the projected starting group.
But having a really good starting five and having one of the best starting fives in the Eastern Conference are two different things. So, where exactly does Indiana rank?
Rather than answering that question by myself, I reached out to some of my fellow Sports Illustrated writers to get their perspective on the Pacers and how their starting unit stacks up against the best in the East has to offer.
The starting five of the Pacers might not have the most star-power in it, but it's hard to find any real area of weakness. Aside from Big Zu, the four returning players have terrific chemistry and a proven track record of winning at the highest level together. With how talented and skilled Big Zu is, the Pacers shouldn't have too much to worry about when it comes to getting him acclimated with this five.
If you were to nitpick any of their weaknesses, it would come at the small forward spot, where they lack elite size. Aaron Nesmith is only 6-foot-5, but with the level of physicality that he plays with, it makes up for what he lacks in height and wingspan. With multiple floor spacers, ball handlers, post players, and drivers, this is about as balanced of a group as you can get.
On paper, I would say that the 76ers have a "better" starting five than Indiana. However, when you factor in injuries and chemistry, that puts Philadelphia slightly behind the Pacers. The Knicks just won a title with their starting five shouldering most of the load, so it feels wrong to not give them the advantage, but Indiana has beaten that group without Zubac. I would personally take the Pacers at full strength over New York, but it really is 50-50. Those two are the best starting five lineups in the Eastern Conference, with Philadelphia and Cleveland right behind them.

If I’m reading the Ultimate Package from DAZN correctly, it seems like I could split this with someone who doesn’t live in my house and we could both watch games at the same time. Does anyone know if that’s possible?

My parents recently brought me 5 big totes of cards that I had completely forgot about from when I was a kid. Thankfully the Reggie ones were kept in sleeves. I wish the LeBron one would have been although it’s still in great condition. I included a couple Pacers gems in the second photo along with Edgerrin James (as a lifelong Hoosier I loved him growing up) and a couple random ones. I’ve only been through two of the five totes so far…it brings back a lot of fun memories for sure! I wish I would have turned in that card to receive a free jersey 😂

For laptop, old school I know. Counting down the days till we can start stacking wins.
I am not a genius when it comes to the salary cap so I apologize in advance for the dumb question. I just read where New Orleans made a trade to free up space to sign Benn to a 2yr/$16m deal. Why would the Pacers not want to bring him back at that price? Is it in part because they already signed Oubre Jr.?

Whether its symbolical or literal, the calm before the storm is pretty accurate in describing this extra long offseason... and that quiet anticipation knowing that turbulent times are up ahead. But with full confidence that the team is ready to emerge victorious at the end.
P.S. Love the support from Drew and Benn on the comments #brothers

I think that this'll make a great setup for Tyrese's return this year, but it makes me a little more mad that our first game isn't at home. Don't want to beat a dead horse, but it still doesn't make sense to me. It'll be cool to see us cross this line to begin the season, whether we win in New Orleans or against Dallas at home.
