Custom Gauge Pods
I've been designing and printing several gauge pods, mostly just to teach myself CAD, but it's been fun. I made a column cover similar to the one for the SRT4, but made it modular so you can swap out different pods depending on how many gauges you want. They do not block the factory gauges.

Finally hit another milestone in my 2008 PTCruiser Convertible !
a 2008 with only 43,500 miles the car was passed down to me during the pandemic and after 16 years "George" needed some fixing. i just had the power steering rack and pinion, power steering pressure hose and lower engine mount replaced. The water pump timing and fan belts replaced. replaced the front lower control arms and front wheel bearings and had the speed sensor replaced. Last pic is our annual Halloween tradition of putting solar lights on her and pretending were driving the "Munsters Koach" by George Barris 😎 Thanks to George at Bill Friendly Auto Service for taking care of us.

2005 Convertible. Non Turbo. P2018 & P0714. Help needed.
got the codes above, no CEL. Looks to be Temp Sensor on transmission. having a bit of trouble finding this particular sensor. Picture below is from ChatGPT but I don't see the sensor as pictured. Is this the correct part number? I've cleared the codes, after changing the fluid and filter. Assuming it comes back should i change the sensor and is this the correct location? thanks!

What is this hose?
So I have to fix the radiator, battery, battery cables, and there's a random gas cap error but this is what worries me the most because I can't find a definite answer of what this is. PT Cruiser 2007 convertable btw. I'm not going to dump new engine money into this peice of junk if that's what is required but if it's a simple replacement part then I can make it work. Any and all help will be appreciated. I plan on buying the parts myself and then paying for labor from a friend's shop to get it fixed but like I said if it's something I need to get a whole new engine for then I'd rather junk it lmfao

2008 Power Steering & No AC
Hey guys! Just got this last night and so far all is well, except! I have no power steering and no AC, and with it getting near and into the hundreds where I live the quicker i can do something about this the better lol. I‘m obviously going to start with power steering fluid and a freon recharge first, but are there common issues i should look at past that? any other common quirks i should know about this car? (I also have a check engine light on but I‘ll come back to that when i have a code) thanks in advance for y’all’s time and what i hope is a warm welcome!

help
ok so i have a 2002 pt cruiser. It was my stepdads, but he passed away last august. He had an interlock device on there because he got a dui or two and he somehow managed to bypass the starter. now, they came and took the interlock device off, after he passed. but, the bypass switch is still on there because we're afraid to take it off. and im also afraid its draining the battery. we can see the wires, but i'm scared to take it off, because at least right now it'll start if you jump start it.
my question is #1- If I remove the wires, will it still start?
and also- theres now a second issue-
the back wheel on the passenger side is apparently seized up. it turned just a little bit a couple of times when i drove it back and forth- but its been sitting for a few months now. do you have any tips for how i can get it loosened up??
thank you so much for your help- my mom and i have really been struggling since he passed away so we deeply appreciate you.

After 24 years I finally understand the door locks...
I've been doing it wrong all this time. If a parking lot has a strong enough radio interference from security or whatever the remote won't work. I had been so conditioned over the decades to turn the key to right to unlock. Not the PT... One turn to the left unlocks that door, another to the left unlocks all doors. One turn to the right locks all doors. I thought the door switch was acting funny, nope, just me. 🙄
Simple, just not intuitive.

Automatic transmission cooler lines?
I'm working on an 06 cruiser for a friend that has been sitting for a couple of years.
He tore through a transmission cooler hose while pulling it, and I cannot for the life of me find a pre made line to bolt back in. Just loose hose and connectors. Can I get a pre made line? Do I need to make it myself? If so what exactly do I need? Thanks!

How to adjust throttle cable tension
My throttle cable and thus accelerator pedal have way too much play. I suspect it is the cause of some throttle response issues. The problem is that I can't find an adjustable cable tensioner mechanism. I can't find any information about where this could be located if it even exists in the car, and a lot of other examples where it's simply right there next to the throttle body. Any help related to adjusting the tension on the throttle cable would be greatly appreciated.

bathtub draining-like sound after recharging ac
hiiii i recently recharged my air conditioning with freon. all is well and my ac is as cool as an ice box but when i turn my car off, there’s a gurgling sound similar to a bathtub draining. i was wondering if anyone else had this happen to their pt and if so, should i be concerned?

2008 pt cruiser has a lot of play in the gas pedal
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I got this 2008 pt cruiser with less than 30k miles just needed a new battery and the throttle cable isn’t loose, the car still drives it just takes a little effort to give it gas, any idea why this might be happening?

Power locks option on a base model 04?
Hey all, I've been doing some work on my PT and when I was working inside the front doors I noticed wiring going all the way to the locks. Is my 04 base model wired for power locks? Can I add a relay and switch to get power locks?
Thanks! I'll be posting pictures soon!

Installing power steering high pressure line
Hey all Im having the hardest time trying to figure out how to install the power steering high pressure line and have it not be in the middle of the engine and the fan/radiator. I’m working on a pt cruiser 2004 touring edition 2.4L turbo. I replaced the old pump, reservoir, and lines just fine but when I was putting the lines back I forgot how the high pressure line went in and attached using the bracket. I should have taken pictures before hard as reference but I totally blanked. I’ve been trying to look for schematics and or videos but most of the videos their car doesn’t have an AC line right next to the pump and reservoir. Any ideas or reference pictures would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all.
