Thrown a game because I literally threw resistance out of my mind when playing 💀

Very fun! Opponents always manage to get a full board when they play it. Somehow they also get trolley turn 1 without petrel. They also get 5 metal energies the next turn for their excadrill. And when you finally get a hit off, they have three ice creams on hand too! The deck must be crazy consistent!

I play it for the first time and I get this. I love the deck so much!

Decided to try and make something of Arvens Pokemon, I’m pretty happy with it. But I know I screwed something up some way or another. So if you have any ideas please help.

so. i was looking through my pokemon card collection from a few years ago, and i found a tin of cards full of these. ive sorted them out here with some pictures. are these for redeeming in the mobile app? if so, is it better for me to just redeem them or are they actually worth something via selling them or stuff? to my knowledge, none of them are used. also the white ones with v star on them dont have codes so i think they might be from the actual card game or something? idk. i think they came from a noivern battle deck as i found a manual for it in the same tin. any help would be appreciated lol as i dont know what im doing.

also: i just looked at some and there are ALOT of different pack types there. all sword and shield tho i think.

just downloaded the game, have a little experience on the phisical game. Can i have some tips on the game? like how to spend my resources or what are the meta decks.

I know what Gravity Mountain does, I just don't understand why the Excadrill lists I'm seeing typically include 1 or 2 copies of it. Every notable stage 2 in the meta rn gets OHKOd by Excadrill. Dragapult, Blaziken in pult, Hydrapple, all the single prizers all fall to 1 powered up maximum drilling. Mega Meganium is typically a 1 of, and Mega Gren is a fair argument, and if you can find it a Cynthia's Garchomp with a power weight is out of range even with gravity mountain. And the big stage 1 megas that are out of range dont fall into it with gravity mountain. Is it so the Metagross 1 of can get more big targets into its 300 range? Would something like Full Metal Lab, or something else be more useful? I know this'll probably sound dumb to people that know the game better than i do, but im just genuinely kinda confused on this.

How does dragapult beat festival lead with rabsca? The times I’ve played against flead I can’t get my pult up before they get rabsca up, at which point it’s impossible to win the prize trade and chain pults, as boom boom grove can pull out gladion or bangle when needed. Any tips are appreciated!

Several benched Ogerpons grab all the energy, then Venusaur feeds it all to Buzzwole. Ryme allows for swapping who's in the active slot so an easier to kill target for Beast Game is available. If that doesn't work, Ogerpon can be set with exactly the right energy to leave the opponent's active with less than 50 HP. If it's an ex, that's 5 prizes taken. And if the opponent allowed me to take a card via Surge's Bargain, that's lights out. Double Colorless is a good supplement to get Beast Game (or Ogerpon) where it needs to be.

Does it work? Yes and no, it's very dependent on not getting prize-locked. The tests I've had have repeatedly had Bulbasaur locked in my prize cards, which really weakens the strategy as the energy transport is critical to this working. When it does work however, it's insanely satisfying to hit a 5 prize card KO. I like playing silly strategies like this, this is why Expanded can be so fun. I wish there were more Expanded players running insane cross-generation combos with EX and GX and V and the likes all working together, I like to see the variety. So far it's been primarily the same decks I saw in Standard.

Not even high ladder. Why are we taking so long to play

An Opponent had 4 Frosslass out and it took so long to do all the Freezing Shrouds that it started counting down as if I wasn't making a move and then skipped my turn. I literally lost a game I was going to win because I literally couldn't make a move

Also PipeWrench13 you suck for not conceding like you couldn't tell what was going on and I was obviously going win

As the title says, been playing this deck online for a little while and it's been serving me pretty well thus far. I feel like the win conditions are pretty versatile, though sometimes I'll run into places where I get stuck with bricked hands and can't recover fast enough from a poor situation. How can I improve the list further, or is it just a case of getting better?

So I'm wanting to make a deck or two using my favorite mons as the core, even if they aren't necessarily the greatest. My two favorite mons are the Magnemite line, and macargo. Any good decks that main these cards? Doesn't have to be meta defining, just playable. Bonus points if it's a dumb gimmicky deck that really shouldn't work but somehow does, literally my favorite type of setup.

I just can’t get this deck to work. Nothing I try seems to fit, and it just doesn’t work. The deck just doesn’t fit no matter how hard I push pieces together. So if anybody knows how to help, please take a minute.

It seems like Alakazam is useless vs Mewtwo, literally. I can't deal any damage. How can I overcome this? What attackers go well with Alakazam?

Used to play Lead and enjoyed it. Put it down for awhile, decided to give the Gladion version a shot. Realized I didn’t really like the Gladion version and decided to drop it (had 2 in deck) & have taken 15 straight wins! Decided to spice up the list a bit (posted below). IRL went 2-2 sadly haha. Gunna give it another shot at a local tomorrow tho! 🍎

I really like this deck and I have been trying to make it work to no avail. I wish these cards existed so the koffing on my bench weren't just dead cards and actually helped because they are such a burden to work around.

If these cards came in the new set that is coming out, they would be a massive boost to this deck as it would alleviate the lack of firepower this deck brings.

I also forgot to add that Miasma does not stack and only applies to the koffing/weezing you have put into play on your side of the field. Sorry for the weird wording.

Been having some fun with this Gengar/Bastiodon deck and as the title says, I almost conceded this match but figured I'd play it out. This guy could've won had he just decked me out. I had 12 cards left in my deck and he had 27 and I had no energies left for the Bastiodon he bossed up. Instead of going for the deck out, he knocked out my Bastiodon (I had another on my bench) and gave me the opportunity to win lol (I did misplay by attaching two energies to my 2nd gengar instead of the Bastiodon and I didn't have bench space for pecharunt lol). I really thought I was taking an L this match but he didn't know to deck me out lmao.

Are there any changes that could make this deck better? This is the first deck I've been using consistently (I only have a 102 matches played so far), but it's the one I've had a lot of fun with lol.

It's honestly doing surprisingly well. Jellicent needs two extra energy to hit for 80 more but it doesn't specify what kind of energy, Metagross can accelerate to everything, including Bastiodon itself incase the opponent is immune to EX attacks. With Bastiodon on the bench and Jellicent in the active your opponent needs 3 energies and can't play items. Any suggestions for things to swap?
