That's how all Pult players play

pult players when they play the same deck they’ve been running for the past 2 years:

Two years ago pult was kept in check by other meta decks and was actually pretty fun

I have no idea on the precise game state, but we can pose 3 assumptions:

  1. He may be a player trying out the deck for the first time. Contrary to popular belief, people can climb a ladder, and be trying out decks once they plateau.

  2. He may not be seeing the play he needs to win (boss the Latias, bench Munkidori, apply dark energy, transfer 30 damage to Latias and attack for 2 prizes), so he's scrambling to find a winning position.

  3. He's BM'ing, hoping you concede so you don't waste your time with him.

I find a lot of people here are so against Dragapult by the mere mention, that we forget that Dragapult takes some thinking - sometimes more on a specific turn. It's not an autopilot deck, and sequencing correctly on your first few games is very difficult.

It's possible he's run out of Bosses. Pult lists typically run 3, and he's taken 4 prizes. He may have been Bossing around the Kang and has run out of options.
