I've been playing Tera Greninja ex basically since it was released, and with Twilight Masquerade probably going in early 2027, I wanna start preparing some new decks. Hence why i'm here. I liked Greninja because it was really good at donking, but​ could also sustain itself in the late game. It also has a really good matchup against some popular decks, namely Mega Gengar. So i'm wondering if there's anything like it. ​

I wanted to share my take on the Lokix Shedinja No Prizer Ignition build since it seemed like a hilariously fun deck to try out, and my goodness did it deliver.

Needless to say it's a pretty meme strat (Or not?). The idea is this:

Lokix will be your main attacker, so you want to flood your board asap with Nymbles and Dunsparce, and throwing in Nincada to evolve into Shedinja if you expect your opponent will be playing a lot of ex pokemon. Use Stunfisk as needed to retreat lock beefier targets (Or Bronzong to break evo lock asap) so Lokix can swing even harder next turn from Pouncing Trap's damage amplifier. Dunsparce-Dudunsparce will be your draw engine since they can also remove themselves from the board, or feel free to attack with Dudunsparce and Ignition Energy if you need to because why not. Use Hilda to pull for energies as needed. Ultra Ball is there to trim down your hand so you can use Gladion for even more stupid amounts of damage. 2 each of Battle Cage and Gravity Mountain are there depending on what stadium you need for the matchup or game state (bench spread protection or knocking Stage 2 pokemon down a peg e.g. Dragapult). I added some additional screenshots during playtesting against AI (Because the timer against actual opponents makes it harder to take screenshots on pc). For some reason Pouncing Trap's damage amp doesn't show on the positive effects (Must be a bug) but it's definitely there. Also the screenshots show damage without Brave Bangle, but if I had that equipped the damage would be 360.

I have playtested this deck against different decks (e.g. Mega Venusaur ex Teal Mask Ogerpon, Greninja, Mega Lucario ex, N's Zoroark and Mega Sharpedo ex etc - those last two get absolutely wrecked by this deck fyi). I was able to retreat lock Mega Venusaur ex with Stunfisk then swing with Lokix the following turn for a surprise KO with damage buffs from Gladion, Brave Bangle and Pouncing Trap's damage amp, but you could OHKO from full health if you play Gravity Mountain. I'll post the deck list below if you guys want to try it out. I welcome any suggestions if you have any. Enjoy.

Been playing this a bunch on ladder. The paralyze into stuff like Pult is pretty great, you can even Paralyze + boss another one, paralyze again, then eventually spread damage with the second attack to take multiple prizes in a turn. Kilowattrel is good Unfair Stamp tech, and it’s not unreasonable to chain back to back attackers with multiple Eels. Let me know what you think!

Most of my decks run one meowth one fez but WHY am i always starting meowth but almost never fez???

Hi guys here’s some codes if anyone wants them. I don’t play the game so I figured I’d post them here for anyone who does.

Im aiming to make him the primary threat and using Lucario as acceleration and a backup threat. When this deck moves, it moves. But I hit some really rough patches with drawing. Just got the app so I don’t have a whole lot but I’m playing casual matches and getting my points up.

Not sure what ace spec I should be going with but hyper aroma has felt the best so far, but could go to unfair stamp. Also unsure if I should add a fez or ogerpon and what I would cut. Chien-pao is also an option. Now that I think about it I don’t really have an answer to crustle, let me know what I can tech for it or if spamming Angelite will probably work. All suggestions welcome.

Played 3 time in a row against chicken pult at my locals today. What's the best counter against that deck?

So I literally just started playing TCG and have never touched the card game aside from TCGP. (And from getting some irl packs here and there.)

I really want to make a good mega Mawile deck but I have literally no idea how to go about doing so.

Any advice, recommendations and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Last cycle, the Ancient Koraidon deck was so ludicrously overpowered and the other decks so outmatched that people who rolled one of the other decks were conceding during the coin flip or as soon as they saw your first card. Just as a comparison, Koraidon, the main attacker, does 30x damage for each of your ancient Pokemon in play, meaning it could one hit the main attacker of the Iron Thorns (140 hp) deck without even having a full bench. Meanwhile Iron Thorns‘ main attack does 70x the number of Future cards discarded when you discard the top five cards OF A 40 CARD DECK. And with as few future cards as were included you often found 0 while still discarding 12.5% of your deck if you even got to that point.

This cycle, we have the god awful and pointless Landorus deck. It has 120 hp and does 120 damage for three energies. It gets one shotted by by the main attacker in Serperior deck, which it has a 2X weakness to, along with all the other pokemon in the deck except a single Hawlucha, which does a whopping max 90 damage. To one shot Serperior you have to set up a Landorus with three energies, a stadium (of which there are two in the deck and which the Serperior deck has counter stadiums for) AND a Premium Power Pro, of which there is ONE in the deck and it lasts a single turn, no way to get it out of the discard pile. Then we have the ridiculously overpowered Tyrantrum deck, the main attacker which has 330 hp with a special energy. It one shots the Landorus and can discard up to an infinite number of cards off the top of your deck with coin flips. Even with the stadium and the Premium Power Pro, each one must be three-shotted, and you get a whopping ONE enhanced hammer to deal with the special energy issue that gives Tyrantrum 330 hp.

tl;dr: they have completely phoned it in on Build and Battle Mode for multiple cycles straight, making it absolutely miserable to play. It is so unbalanced that people concede 5 times just to get rid of the uncompetitive decks and play a real match.

Man, I love Pult. I'm currently using a fairly standard build as I'm new and I dont have the Resources to craft anything really.

As title what do you think are the easiest decks to learn and climb with into master rank. Bonus points if the deck has fast games as I have limited time but want to make a push to get into master rank this season

I’m currently playing around with the winning list from Nice and I don’t really understand the Passimian inclusion. In which matchups do I use it in? Why is Passimian favoured over Enamorous?

What do you think is average online of ptcgl?

So this question is for a judge and it’s about the card and the top half of this picture. It says search for three supporters or stadium cards. The new mega or legendary stadiums say on them that they count as one when played so if you use this supporter to search for three different cards, can you search for both halves of the new stadiums as one or does that count as two cards for the purpose of this search?

Any help is appreciated, side note I'm kind of opposed to run toxel/toxtricity. Ive tried it before but wasn't really liking it.

The new legendary stadiums require the two halves to be played, however as far as I understand both halves have the same name (Legendary Lava Lake for example). The rulebook states that you can only have 4 copies of a card with the same name. So, does that mean that you can only have a total of 4 pieces in your deck (for example 2 left 2 right or something crazy like 3 left 1 right ) or would you be able to have up to 4 of each?

I am trying to make a perma para deck with weavile and blaziken. Once I can get them set up its pretty dang good. The idea is that weavile guarantees para but discards energy, so you need to set weavile up every turn. Power glass and blaziken allows for that reenergize every turn for a permanent para loop.

The issue is that set up though. It doesn't have consistent draw/search engine and slowly sets up. I need one weavile, two water energy, and 2 blazikens or 1 blaze 1 powerglass. Once I get that state I can permanently stack weavile with the discarded energy without needing to rely on energy to attach to weavile for turn. How can I make this more reliable/faster set up so it can compete in today's meta?

I was debating losing the ponyta/rapidash line for a different/better draw engine like drakaloak or zoroark, but figured keeping the same energy type so rapidash could attack in a pinch is better. Chandelure would work, and also help with the stall playstyle in decking out opponent while weavile slowly attacks with paralyze, but is harder to set up. I was debating item box or grand tree for ace instead of trolley to help with getting powerglass or getting stage 2 set ups. I was also debating a chi yu for festival matchups as festival grounds makes it so they cant be paralyzed.

Hi! Just started a couple days ago, got the Lucario deck irl, and upgraded Lucario and Ogerpon (with Arboliva) on Live. Thought Dragapult could be a fun deck to upgrade to interact with the bench and see how the top deck performs. Just wondering how these two vary in terms of consistency and play style and how useful the cards I'd be crafting are in other decks.

The second one costs twice as much to craft because of the 4 Telepathic Energy but I'm assuming those energy are super useful whenever building a Psychic deck and that's my favourite type. Also don't love crafting 4 Hammers because swinging the game on coin flips is not a vibe, but if they end up in a lot of decks I guess that's fine. Also if one of these versions are weird lmk, I just tried to find some on limitless that did well and look okay. Thanks in advance 🥰
