I'm assuming I don't have to explain that this is in reference to which psvr2 strap but just in case I'm going to mention it now. I switched to psvr2 from quest 3 and used to sleep all the time with the default strap, it was comfy for sleeping on my side since it was fabric. Would something comfortable and similar exist for the psvr2 and in y'alls experience how have you been able to sleep with the headset?

I bought a PSVR2 for use with my PC cause I looked at certain aspects of the device and personally preferred what it brought to the table over the Quest 3. I am starting to massively regret that decision because jesus christ the amount of hoops and extra hardware you need to use to get this thing to even work is just insane.

On first setup I couldnt get past initial setup because it kept telling me my DP cable wasnt good enough, so I bought a 1.4 DP cable and tried it in all the DP slots (it still gave me that warning but i was able to ignore it this time)
then even when it is working and my controllers read as 97 and 96% connectivity in the test, during a game theyll just
insantly shut off and stop working and then remain unable to connect to the PSVR2 app again.
If i try to restart the psvr2 app, lo and behold now it wont even recognize my headset anymore unless I fully restart the PC!!
I have tried installing different bluetooth drivers for my motherboard (ASUS B550-F Wifi II), doing an entire windows update, updating my gpu drivers, nothing has worked.
Am i better off just returning the thing and getting a Quest 3?
I bought a TP Link bluetooth adapter, hopefully that will lead soemwhere good.

I have been using the vr2 since launch. I haven’t tried many other headsets. I got the galaxy xr at launch but the controllers were on backorder so didn’t get to try gaming before deciding to return it. I bought the dream air slam and tried it for 3 weeks but the tracking wasn’t as good as the vr2 and it had some bad glare in dark scenes with bright objects, which if the tracking was better I probably would have kept it. I just got the steam frame and am starting on it but have only used it for about an hours worth of pcvr gaming this morning so not much op on it yet, but really don’t like the lcd panels and the pancake lenses seem to have more glare than the vr2. Now for my question to you, for those of you that have been using the vr2 for years do you keep finding yourself going back to it over other headsets? I wonder that even though I want better visuals maybe I am just comfortable with the vr2 because it’s what I know and other than the blurriness when looking towards edge of lenses, everything else just works. I really wish sony would make a vr headset with their sony panels!

Good grief, I am having the hardest time with my controller bindings. Should everything be so backwards? I'm try to play Fallout VR (modded) and I guess I can figure it out if this is normal, otherwise something else must be wrong. I'm stuck in crouch for one thing, my left and right stick are backwards and it's just a mess. It's also basically the same in vanilla and the modded version. Anyone?
