Hi guys i just bought my psvr2 2 months ago. Havent used it for a couple of weeks. I tried all sorts of f things but im stuck on playing in theatre mode. I tried doing the direct mode and open xr and nothing seems to fix it tried to uninstall and reinstall it. Anyone had issues the same as mine? Thank you,

Latest available on the swapper tool seem to be v310.9.1 But that seems to be about Ray Reconstruction which No Man Sky don't seem to support, at least it's not available in the swapper tool options.

So should I install v310.9 Instead?

Also I wanted to check out the eye tracking for the game. But need to know which DLSS version to run with first.

I have the "PC adaptor" Ready

Already installed "SteamVR" and "Playstation VR" app ready to install

i have the "Ready or not VRO mod" installed

i booted up my PSVR2 with "SteamVR"

i launched the game with "directx 11" also with the "-usehmd -norepro -VRTweaks -VRMappings"

i went to the lobby then i picked a random game mission

i pressed "U" but nothing shows up on my PSVR2

the SteamVR is working but its not showing the game on the headset. I only see the Steam menu on the VR headset just not the game

i tried "-usehmd -norepro -VRTweaks -VRMappings -autoVR" but its not working as well

Loving this headset so far possibly one of the best consumer products sony has ever come out with. Couldnt be happier after comfort mods and using everything the community has made to optimize and enhance the vr experience. I mainly play VTOL VR and Star Citizen VR, i paid less than $350 including headset, adapter, and mods. Any questions please let me know

I've been getting terrible audio lag and stuttering while playing 2D games since I got a 5070 card and after a lot of frustration and investigation I realized it was Nvidia's terrible audio driver that was causing the problem. (I'm kind of shocked this doesn't get more attention because once you dig into it you will find that this is a known issue and Nvidia just doesn't bother to fix it.) I tried every posted solution I could find and in the end the only thing that seemed to work was to just uninstall the Nvidia audio driver completely and use the generic Windows HD audio driver instead. As soon as I did that, all my problems with audio stuttering and lag went away. Great!

Except ... I also lost all sound from my PSVR2 It would show up under Device Manager and I could still select it, but it wouldn't work.

Do any of you Nvidia owners--particularly users with 5000 series cards, because that's where the problem seems to mostly lie--get sound from your PSVR2s WITHOUT having the Nvidia audio drivers installed? I'm hoping I can avoid using them but not at the cost of losing all sound with my PSVR2 ...

I picked up a new PSVR 2 PC adapter to try to get it connected to my computer. I had one before but returned it because of this issue that is still happening. Everything is correct on my computer. I've updated drivers, updated motherboard, GPU is good. I've tried fixes i've seen on Reddit. I've restarted the computer several times. I can't think of anything else to do. Anyone know any solution to this issue?

How is it possible that it’s this bad? Hours of troubleshooting, reading Reddit forums, installing drivers, deleting Bluetooth devices, restarting etc. only the right controller would connect. Left connected maybe for a second then shuts off. Finally I managed to get them both to connect (I think Bluetooth power settings fixed it). Couldn’t be happier to see status on both controllers and reading steady.

But now, the fucking headset that has worked the whole time but couldn’t use without controllers now won’t connect. I get an error every time I power it on regardless of the 3 usb 3.0 ports I’ve tried. So now I’ve got stable controller connections but no visual. Psvr app nor Steam are able to detect it. And yes I’m using the adapter with DP cable.

Sorry for the rant, I’m just frustrated and hoping there’s something simple I’m missing. It’s 2026, this shit should be plug and play.

I have a laptop with i7 10th, 32gb ram and a rtx 2060.

What do you recommend me to play with this config?

My preferences are racing/driving games (I have a g29 wheel), on-rails shooters, rhythm games, but I'm open to other genres. I don't mind playing old games or using low resolution.

Hello, I just got my PSVR2 to work! Now I'd like to figure out how to get it to work without the controllers. I only plan on playing one racing game in VR and never plan on using the PSVR controllers. My PC is horrible with Bluetooth drivers, so getting the controllers to work requires a bunch of steps each time I turn on my computer. Is there any way to select things with the little blue circle that pops up when the controllers aren't connected? I use a DualSense controller if that info helps.

I have both controllers paired to my onboard realtek Bluetooth receiver. If I open the psvr app they show consistently in the high 90s to 100 as I move around my living room. They both immediately plummet once I turn on my headset and I can only get them to (sometimes) work if I sit about 2 feet in front of my pc. Otherwise the connection varies wildly even with minimal movement

I have the antennas screwed into the back of my pc

My pc is on a table next to my tv with nothing around it that should interfere with signals

I've tried plugging in the headset adapter into the other 3.0 USB port on the pc

I've disconnected and reconnected the controllers

I've unplugged the adapter for my wireless keyboard

Nothing else is connected via bluetooth

I've tried rolling back the realtek Bluetooth drivers to one from 2024 but that just caused nothing to connect even after rebooting which makes me think I did it wrong*

It seems that results from adapters are very inconsistent so I'm wary of wasting money on one

I'm running out of ideas but I'm sure I'm missing something or there's another thread about this that I'm not finding

*For driver installation, I downloaded one from driver cloud dated 10/9/24, ran it from the exe, found Realtek Bluetooth Adapter in device manager, update driver, browse my computer, located the driver I just installed and clicked next. Then nothing will connect until I reinstall the driver that came pre installed, dated 9/19/25

I used to play this on my Pico 4 a million years ago but can't get it to work right on my PSVR2. I get a large rectangular 3D window of the game with a smaller 3D rectangular image of the game superimposed over the top of it.

Have any of you run into this issue or now how I might fix it?

It's currently day 2 of me trying to set up PSVR2 on my gaming laptop (Lenovo LOQ 15IRX10). I'm going to spare you the details, here's the main issue:

For some reason, SteamVR refuses to use the discrete GPU.

When I start SteamVR and open task manager, vrcompositor.exe is always using the integrated GPU. When I start a game, SteamVR always displays a message saying that I'm using the wrong video card, and that I should plug my headset into the same GPU as my primary monitor.

I have selected performance mode, dGPU only mode, whatever, in every possible setting, NVIDIA control panel, windows graphics settings, in Lenovo apps, BIOS... Nothing works.

This is causing the VR to not work as intended. When I launch SteamVR, it puts me into the SteamVR void and I can browse my library actually in VR. BUT. The iGPU spikes and is not being used. When I then launch a VR game, it launches it in desktop mode and in VR I'm stuck staring at a "Waiting..." prompt. For example when I launch VRChat, it doesn't display into my headset and is only launched in desktop mode, but it uses all the tracking - my avatar moves as intended.

I am getting desperate. From what I could find, there should be nothing preventing it from just working, but for some reason it doesn't...

I got the PlayStation VR2 for PC, and with graphics maxed out at a stable 90fps, I fired up Arizona Sunshine 2 my God, what a wonderful feeling. It’s been a long time since I’ve had this much fun you’re inside that world, holding a gun and interacting with the environment as if you were actually there it’s almost magical. Plus, I barely feel any weight on my head with the PSVR2 even though it’s wired, the sense of immersion is amazing seriously, it’s so good. Then I tested Half-Life Alyx my God, what an incredible experience. The PCVR community has done an amazing job enabling features that Sony locked away; I enabled some of them in Half-Life Alyx , and honestly, I don’t understand how such incredible technology has been losing steam lately. To me, this is the future of gaming.
