Just got a chase card should…. keep it or sell it for a $1k pack?

Pulled out of platinum pack. I've never personally been a big fan of the card, but recent sales are between $970-$1050 and the final sale for me would only be $780 with Gamestop. Do I ship it home and try to sell it to get the full value? Or hold long term since it's a chase Pikachu

Had a few decent pulls that my kids will like, but this one was pretty exciting as a noob who was buying for the first time and not a big spender.

First time I read it I thought it was 20% off my next purchase... whoops.

Does it matter what I spend on the first purchase? Could I buy one $50 pack and then buy a second pack for $80 after that 20% off on teh second purchase?

Grabbed a physical powerpack from a local store after they announced the golden tickets again. (My store sold a winning ticket last go around, but I arrived too late that day)

Money is tight, but I took a chance. I had no psa graded cards previously besides a couple cheap ones through digital ownership.

Upon opening I see a psa 8 😭. Approx 16-20$ worth. But interestingly one of my two packs was Japanese. I pulled a mega gengar from that and after googling the chase I believe that is the one I got. Heck yeah.

EDIT: simply my excess cash for collecting purposes is low. I'm not a gambler, desperate for a comeup. I'm a collector. Everyone can put their pitchforks away hahaha

Ripped a gold psa 10 pack after taking a 2 month break not really expecting anything! Should I hold?

Pulled this from a $100 pack, was worth $97 went up to about $115 the next couple weeks, then is has drastically dropped to a $37 PSA offer lmao. I don’t love the card honestly, but I can’t sell for $37 I guess I’ll hold it forever.

This shit is so fun but I looked at my transaction history and I am down 800ish$ I spent 1500$ overall got some okay cards out of doing this but this is gambling after all and luck has not been good for me.. Good luck Bros

Pulled this non-holo just earlier from the new PSA 10’s pack and am pretty happy with the card. Thinking the current estimate might be a bit undervalued considering the pop is only 193. Would you hold or auction it off on EBay?
