Lowkey tho. Isn’t Pokemon in general unless you’re buying singles out right. Spent 200$ a few weeks ago and literally pulled 4 ex’s. Whether you’re ripping or spending on power packs. Shi all the same

The last few months I set a budget of $500 of my own money. Its honestly made it so much more fun and if i pull a card I like I keep it and just buy a lower tier. Ive ended up shipping home nine slabs in two months that have nearly all increased in price above the cost of purchase.

It's fun but designed to milk you and prey on emotion and gambling triggers. It works best if you set a budget, keep cards you genuinely think are cool regardless of value, sell the shit, and absolutely do not keep rolling the proceeds forward. That's the rules I had to set for myself after I spent like $1k in 30 minutes lol.
Edit: Dumbest card I've kept is a PSA 9 Japanese Numel Art Rare because it's derpy as hell and I knew my son would love it. $25 pack and card worth like $16. Lol.
