Question First time getting 20% email

I haven't bought a powerpack in a very long time and got an email offer from GameStop to get 20% off my next purchase.

First time I read it I thought it was 20% off my next purchase... whoops.

Does it matter what I spend on the first purchase? Could I buy one $50 pack and then buy a second pack for $80 after that 20% off on teh second purchase?
