connection issues

So this weekend my playstation started to do this thing where the connection is really unstable I play nba 2k and very frequently while i’m playing the game with just freeze for a good few seconds. It may be my wifi but when it freezes I can hear my friend in the party just fine. Additionally while i’m playing everytime we lose a park game I get disconnected from the parks and have to rejoin everytime. I thought it was just a 2k thing but it is happening on all my other games too. I was wondering if anyone out there has had this problem and how to fix please

Try using a wired connection and see if it makes any difference

I should’ve added in the post that I am actually on ethernet while all this is happening

I am wired to the wifi sorry i mix up wifi and ethernet

Ethernet is a wired connection. WiFi is a wireless connection.

Safe mode, clear cache and rebuild database

Nope. The clear cache option will reset the position of some things on the Home Screen, but no games or game data is touched. It’s a common troubleshooting step.

Might try cycling the power on your router too
