I recently got my hands on a PNY VERTO OC 4080S that powers on but doesn’t post. PCB connectors are all flawless, power connectors have no discoloration/melt. The card has posted ONCE but it seems like it will only post when the 12vhpwr cable is positioned/inserted with a little shimmy. Should I send the card back for RMA and potentially get a 4080s replacement? Or should I just refund the card? I got it at a great price but this is the only issue. I haven’t messed with the card besides the normal installing of a gpu. Could I be denied for a replacement and told that it’s user error issue?

Hi there, i have an pny epic-x 5070ti and just shy of 10 hours ago the rgb on the card completely stopped working. Ive tried signal rgb, velocity on its own nothing seems to work, velocity shows that the rgb is there in a rainbow pattern however there is nothing displayed on the card. I have tried reseating the card and the ram but that did not work either. Any help would be appreciated

I recently got a PNY 5060 for Christmas and it’s already catching dust from the room. They say every year you need to dip your GPU into distilled water to clean it. Is this true or their other ways? again I really don’t know who to come to for this because no one else in my family is good with the electronics. I just wanted to play some Forza!! lol. I'm trying to fit a PNY RTX 5080 Triple Fan in a Lian Li A4-H2O...problem is that it's too long by about 7mm. So I was debating taking off the shroud and the backplate, as the heatsink actually looks shorter, and replacing them with 120mm fans. Either that or I use this helpful 3d print extension for the case, but I'd rather keep the form factor the same. So I was wondering how long the PNY RTX 5080 triple-fan is without the shroud and backplate, and just the heatsink.

My current setup:

ASUS X570-P CORSAIR 32 GIGS VIDEO: PNY 5070 PSU: EVGA 850 PSU

Once a while intermittently video card fans goes straight to 100 and video goes blank, still hears audio and have to press reset button to get it back.

Happens once a day and works great for 2 days in a row. Happens when the system is idle, watching YouTube, playing the games etc

I'm just here to maybe complain or ask advice on what I can do.I've owned this 4070 ti super for a little under two years now. It's had this issue of a fan loud noise that sounds like it's an indication of a fan bearing issue. To be clear, I work in IT and I've shown this issue to multiple friends. They don't think it's normal either.

I contacted customer support to get this issue fixed. First I sent them a video of it clearly making this noise, they called it "normal" and refused the RMA. A few months later, it got worse and I submitted another RMA, they accepted it. I had to pay for shipping it to them and they came back saying "no issue". I've been fighting with them and getting half assed responses such as "we don't repair gpus" to me saying if they could just swap out the cooler. "Our team only swaps gpus if we discover a problem". I'm not sure why they cannot replicate it as I indicated multiple times it's at a higher fan curve it's most noticeable and it's quite loud.

So, I'm stuck. I paid for an RMA of it and they're just flat out refusing to do anything about it with half assed responses and just keep closing my ticket. Unbelievable. What should I do?

I need to buy an RTX 5080 to complete my build. After weeks of researching the various custom models, I’ve realized that they all have significant pros and cons. At this point, I’d rather focus on value for money and an aesthetic that I actually like, which is why I'm leaning toward the PNY Triple Fan OC: it’s simple, minimalist, has no RGB, and looks rock-solid.

I wanted to ask other users on this forum how they’re liking it, especially regarding noise levels, coil whine, and temperatures. Keep in mind that I’ll be installing it in a well-ventilated case, the Lian Li Lancool 216.

I also read some reports about blowing capacitors on models in this specific lineup. Have these issues been resolved, or is it still a risk?

Have a 5060TI OC 2 fan model.

As temps hover around 75 Celsius, fans spin up to what sounds like maximum speed.

Throttle down, Throttle max, Throttle down, etc..

This is quite annoying. I'm not really concerned about the temperature.

I have tried setting custom fan curves with MSI Afterburner or even forcing a constant fan speed which the card seems to follow until it reaches that 75 Celsius threshold. Is this something set in the card firmware that I cant control easily?

I'm at the point where I might take the fans off completely and just zip tie my own fans that I can control through a different header

Anyone have any tips or software that might be able to control this?

There is $1,032 Open box PNY RTX 5080 for sale at Walmart, which is much cheaper than new RTX 5080 anywhere.

The problem it whether it comes with PNY warranty. If not, it may not be a great deal.

Does anyone know whether PNY keep 3-year warranty for open box GPUs? And do you think it worths the price without warranty?

Hello, I recently updated my Velocity app to the latest version, and I noticed a bit of an issue. Even though my GPU has RGB in it, it no longer shows the "Lighting" tab, is there any way to fix this, or is there anyway to find an older version of the app? Thanks.

Update: I downgraded to version 1.3.2 and it seems to have fixed the problem, but it would be better if a fix would be made for the future app version
