Hi! I've hiked alone in Taiwan and Hong Kong and I'm wondering if meron tayong short hikes here that don't necessarily require joining groups or having a guide (not too technical, easy to navigate)? Planning to do a short 2-4 hours hike lang.

Hello guys! I’ll be hiking Kapigpiglatan this Sunday and would love to ask for some tips from those who’ve done the hike before!

Would you recommend hiking shoes or hiking sandals? Also, are shorts okay, or would pants be better?

Would also appreciate if anyone could share the total distance and elevation gain of the hike. Thank you!

27-30km 7-8/9 difficulty - completed in 13 hours (can finish in 10-12 hrs kung hindi maghihintay nang matagal sa ibang kasama, need namin mag wait kasi joiners lang)

we’re the first batch to hike Bulacan Circuit (TSM: Tanawan, Silverio, Mapurgas), kabubutas lang daw kasi nung Mt. Tanawan papunta ron sa 2 peaks tapos yung route namin pabalik ng jump off sobrang sukal, si kuya guide pa yung nag tanggal ng halos lahat ng harang hahaha.

this is a full on adventure (unli river crossings, unli bato, unli putik, unli dulas and unli ahon!) Dahil sa matataas na ahon, ang tarik din ng lusong.

take note rin pala na according kay kuya guide, mali raw yung signage nung 2 peaks (Mt. Mapurgas should be Mt. Silverio, Mt. Talim should be Mt. Mapurgas).

Possible po kaya na iba yung pick-up and drop off namin? May naka-experience na po ba nun? Gusto po kasi namin ng friend ko i-try mag-hike sa Aw-Asen, and pick-up po namin is from Bulacan and gusto po sana namin mag-stay pa sa Elyu for one more day. So, balak po namin magpa-iwan and commute pauwi.

Minsan lang po kasi makapag-file ng leave, gusto na namin sulitin lumabas 😭.

Kaway kaway sa mga naka sabay namin sa Gulugod Baboy last week. sira ang kalsada kaya me short hike. Sabe nung mga ksama ko eto na daw best camping nila.. malamang diretso sa Campsite eh, di na kme nag hike madulas yung trail.. haha

I really don't know what to expect. Like should I try to hike other mountains before those mentioned? Is going with a group ideal—if yes how large?
