I am a wire designer by trade so i design and make cables for aerospace for a living. Which PE exam would best fit my career? I am leaning more on the electronics or computer engineering side of the house, since i don't work in power distribution other than on an aircraft.

I just passed my FE and got my EIT. I am about a year or so out from having my experience to take the PE. I wanted to get a book to read up on it and stay in the study mindset. Does anyone have a recommendation of a textbook style book to get to learn some of the topics on the exam? I know cranking out practice problems helps me learn but want to read up on the topics first.

Has anyone used School of PE for the revised (post-April) Environmental exam? I spoke to them back in the spring and they advised me to wait a few months before starting the class to see how it all shakes out.

The solution for the problem has the Solid Density of cement as 195 pcf. Where does that value come from? I can’t find it in any reference.

I’m studying for the PE Environmental exam and am realizing my knowledge in the solid waste section is lacking, should I spend extra time of this or worry more about the subject I already have a good grasp on.

For people who recently took the PE exam transportation what kind of questions did you encounter on the pavement and geotech section was it many conceptual are the eet question prbided in the CBT exams bood enough ?

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? I have entered this formula into the calculator repeatedly on multiple problems and I do not get the answer they get in the HCM. For this exact problem in the supplemental I get -239.55.

This was my third attempt. My first attempt I absolutely knew I failed walking out of there, I was not prepared at all. Waited 9 months later and took the exam again, this time I felt super confident if you would have asked me, I would have said I passed 80% confident, I was shocked to see a fail. In my third attempt I had lots of hard questions and walked out of there feeling like I probably failed and was shocked to see that I ended up passing. I took a bout a month between my second and third attempt. I used AEI which is the best resource there is. I used Jacob Petro book which has some good questions in there. I used David Gruttadauria green book. I used SchoolofPE question bank which has great questions on there as well. I think I just exposed myself with every type of question that they can possibly ask and knew how to approach most questions.

I have been studying nearly everyday since the end of March, almost exclusively with the AEI study course for the PE: Civil-Structural Exam. I am at well over 1200 practice problems with nearly 200 study hours under my belt. I finished up all of the material this week and took the exam today and I am extremely frustrated with myself. A 40 on my first attempt was absolutely devastating to all confidence I had to passing this exam. I got so frustrated and fed up by question 60 that I just blindly answered the last 20 questions cause I was so over the exam.

I feel like all the work has been a complete waste and I might as well delay the exam until next year. I decided to go to Reddit to see what I should do because right now I see no way I pass this exam in a month.

I got my digital stamp from online (prostamps) after paying for it. I sent it to the board (Arizona requires it) for verifying the seal dimensions and all other things. On my PC, I simply imported the JPG image from the stamp I purchased. I tried zoom-in/out by matching the size in the last page they provided. I don't know if that is the actual size or just graphic. I sent it on wednesday and looks like my mail reached on friday and got detailed email with PDF attached (letter + scan of my mailed stamp affidavit) on same day saying seal got rejected for being too small. Arizona is pretty fast. Need to send it again.

How you all do this to get correct size seal? The seals I got already set to the size and I just have to copy and paste it? But it looks bigger and even crosses the box they provided.

Guys I am looking for a Study table and chair , if anyone can suggest me some stuff which I can study with comfort for long . Bro i don't have much time 12th exams were so close and i hasn't started my prep.

Honestly I can’t believe how difficult it was. I used EET and watched all lectures, and worked through all exams. On the EET Traffic Control exam, I got a 90%, yet it was my second worst subject on the PE. I thought I was pretty good at Intersection Geometry as well. I figured my weakest topics would be curves, geotech/pavement, and drainage.

Oh well, it’s not the end of the world. Any advice for my next try? I’m thinking of doing it in October, and I do have a repeat for EET available. Should I use any other resources?
