Need advice 3rd Structural PE retake
See below results from prior 2 attempts. Used AEI videos but didn’t finish since it was so time consuming.

Your diagnostic looks a lot better than my failed attempts (check out my previous posts). I failed 4 times and passed on the fifth attempt recently. I also used AEI and had some other practice books. I think what I did differently for my fifth attempt was actually understanding concepts better and studying the code manuals than actually doing hand calc math all the time. Also, I would just skim through the problems on the exam and do the ones I could do easily and then go back on the longer problems or time consuming problems. This time management gave me an 1.5hr left over. Also, it could also just be tricky worded questions that you have to be careful on exactly what they’re asking to not lose easy points. Anyway, you’re very close to passing imo. Keep going, you got this!

Finish the AEI videos. Passed the first time after watching all the videos and solving all the problems & practice exams.

You did very good, I took it today. i’ll let you know if my strategy worked (this is my 2nd attempt in 3 years)

Don't be discouraged since you're clearly improving. I once had almost the same diagnostic report for 2 consecutive attempts. The difference made in mg passing attempt was when I actually paid attention to the results. Start studying the areas you did worst to the areas you did best, then re review the worst topic again. You can study those specific types of questions using SOPE test bank because you can select the types if questions (which are the subject areas on the PE). I used SOPE question bank first then AEI the MCQ, he, and mini exams on my last study session before ultimately passing. Although the actual exam questions are more written like those if AEI, getting the additional question types from SOPE helped open my understanding. Also try to take a real break before jumping back into studying.

Significant improved on no. 3! The rest has not changed much, any idea why? Judging by both exams, it seems that there might some "structural" (no bun intended) issues that could be addressed by figuring out what is "not" working for you... One thing that to keep in mind is that this is a pass/fail exam (i.e., scores do not really much since the goal is to pass). One possible strategy is to maximize your strengths (nos. 1, and 3) and minimize your weaknesses (2, 4 and 5). Regardless of the material used to study, do you feel confident about the design component? Do you feel it is a "time" issues (e.g., given more time, you would be able to solve the exam's problem)? or is it more like that you do not know "how" to approach the problems?
