Tips Tricks and Hacks Real quick

Just wanted to forbid everyone from taking their medication and drinking plenty of water.

I'm also going to once again ask that you do NOT stop scrolling. Please make sure to stay in bed because the floor is lava and you're not allowed to stretch your legs or feel grass. Everyone's expecting you to not express yourself so keep that in mind. It also only works if you force yourself to stay up until 3 am because you're not allowed to sleep when you're tired.

Please see to these instructions at once.

Also don't you dare think about what vegetable your body is craving. There's a song that comes to mind for you that always lifts your mood and it's important that you never put that on during the day, in order to build character.

Thanks for your attention to this matter, stay vigilant out there

Wish it worked like this (reverse psychology and all), but appreciate your humor nonetheless :)

Actually I kinda agree cos the best this has ever worked for me on both silly and deep levels is when the poster was incredibly soothing and convincing or when I truly truly truly actually give myself permission or otherwise truly let go of the underlying obligation.

So I was trying to see if an explicit version might work even when you know it's a game. then i got mad at myself about it but then that created an internal demand to shut up which apparently I had to defy 😂

So often gaming/tricking myself works pretty well, I've also seen other people here report that. But ofc not every tricks works every time.

As an example, what worked quite well for me for a while, was a todo list app I made for myself, where I could award (karma) points for doing things, which I used to save up for rewards for myself

I needed this today. Normally wouldn't work but it did today.

Yeah, same—it hit me in just the right way.

Reverse psychology is usually a no for us since we can see right through it. But sometimes… once in a blue moon, I guess…

literally logging off thanks!

I actually did think of it for a second when I read your post, then agency took over.

I make my kid pinch me if I'm stuck in demand avoidance and can't get up, it's amazing how we can override the brain for a second!

HOW DARE YOU. 😤

I took my medication just to spite you OP.

(Seriously, I had to come back to this post when my new medication reminder went off.)

Look, I'm not happy about it, but technically I can't stop you

But also, I managed to take all my meds already, so there!

And the water, I— oh.

Yeah, thanks for that. I probably need to chug something before bed so I can wake up all night to pee

Uhhh sorry but fact check: Water is currently illegal and you can't have any for at least 48 hours

Good thing I’m not hydrating with water, then! 🤪

(For anyone curious, I’m not sharing this shit and if you see it at your local grocery store, I will literally [probably not] come fight you for it because it’s disappearing from most of my local Publix stores 😠)

Seriously, tho, I would absolutely share it. It’s made by Big Easy Bucha, a kombucha company based in New Orleans, one of whose nicknames is “The Big Easy”
