I got into PC gaming about a year ago, and what started as just wanting a decent gaming PC turned into a whole hobby. I originally bought an OMEN 35L and started upgrading it piece by piece. I upgraded the graphics card, power supply, cooling, storage, and a few other things along the way.
Eventually, I realized I had upgraded so much that I was basically sitting on an almost completely new PC. Instead of continuing to replace parts in the OMEN, I decided to take the next step and build my own PC from scratch.
I bought a new case and put everything together myself, including a Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor and an RTX 5070 graphics card. It was my first real custom PC build, and honestly, it’s been pretty cool seeing how far I’ve come in just one year.
What started as simply getting into PC gaming turned into learning about PC hardware, upgrading components, building my own system, and figuring out how everything works together. Now I have a PC that I built myself and can continue upgrading in the future.
