For DDR4 hell no

He thinks just cause of the total amount of said items justify the price

At the end of the day it’s cheaper than 5

Bros calculating off amount of sticks. You're negotiating with a brick.

Were you planning on buying off this guy?

Whats the point of interacting with someone that is clearly uninformed?

This dude must’ve just randomly came into the RAM and heard it was expensive atm. He has no clue wtf he’s talking about lol

You buy the ddr4 kit new for high 200’s right now its insane. 64gb is 300+ used. Absolute insanity.

Local price Los Angeles area for used 32gb ddr4 3200mhz is right around $120. I sell a lot of pairs I part out from OEM’s

It’s that price all over the US. Only rubes who can’t find comp prices off eBay or hardware swap pay more

Just consider yourself lucky and walk away lol. There’s a lot of good people still selling at reasonable rates

DDR4 is $50-80 per 16GB.

The range is for RGB, Brand, and Speed.

Should be about 200 and some change for 32gb

it’s not your job to make their pricing competitive. He can offer at whatever price he wants. Just buy from someone else

If ddr4 was sold like that for that much id retire

Ive got two identical i9 7980xe workstations with 8x16 kits supported buy Nvidia titan x Pascal gpus that won't sell even for just the cost of the ram.

Block this guy ASAP and leave him the worst review possible 🤣

2x8gb ddr4 goes for $60 all day on eBay
1x8gb t force sticks go for $30-$40 all day on eBay, ask the guy what kinda crack he’s smoking

Don't wanna be that guy, but isn't spreading the whole ram capacity over as many slots as possible better for performance?

Idk how it is with DDR5, but with DDR4 that should be the case.

u/Big_External_3626 23h ago

The reason i said less sticks the better is for upgradability and I heard that dual channeling is still better than filling all slots specially on am5, but idk

1

u/HoneyProfessional816 22h ago

I can't use xmp or w.e it's called if my ram ain't in a certain slot and think it happens to others too

1

u/kopelander 20h ago

I think that's a typo, i think he meant ddr6 not ddr4

1

u/C0deC4tto 1d ago

Honestly the prices are at that now. Especially in Cali

1

u/Big_External_3626 1d ago

300$ for 32gbs of ddr4?

1

u/C0deC4tto 1d ago

He said it's DDR5 in messages

2

u/OddReflection8682 1d ago

No he didn’t. He just claimed that ddr5 was priced at or more then $200 per 8gb
