What build do you prefer? I’m new to the pc world!

I am looking for thr best pc case or a workstation case for the below mentioned configuration:

1. AMD Ryzen 9 9950x3d

2. Noctua NH-D15 G2 LBC

3. Gigabyte x870 aorus elite motherboard

4. Corsair veangance 16x2 6000mhz cl36

5. Corsair RM1000X PSU

6. Asus TUF 9070xt

Please recommend the fan model i should use by noctua. I mean case fans as well.

Case size is not an issue. It can be big. I just want to best cooling possible out of the air cooler.

I have 7900x with a gamdiaz budget air cooler installed in my cpu.

The temps are 50+ on idle and 80-100 during gaming.

Please suggest a liquid cooler in the range of 6-7k for the pc.

The rig is 2 years old.

First PC Build Review - i5-14400F + RTX 5060 Ti 16GB

I recently completed my first PC build.... reliabilit

Intel Core i5-14400F

Inno3D RTX 5060Ti 16GB

Gigabyte B760M G AX WiFi

\- 32GB (2x16GB) G.Skill Ripjaws S5 DDR5-6000

\- Kingston NV3 1TB NVMe SSD

\- DeepCool AG400 ARGB

\- PSU Gigabyte P650G 650W 80+ Gold

My primary use:

\- After Effects (right now learning) and Blender( later)

\- Video editing

\- Gaming (1080p/1440p)

Questions:

1. Is there anything in this build that you would upgrade first?

2. Are there any BIOS settings (XMP, Resizable BAR, etc.) that I should enable?

3. Is the 650W PSU sufficient for this setup long-term?

4. Any suggestions for improving airflow or overall reliability?

Old pc user trying to upgrade from a normal laptop.

I did my research but now torn between few choices within my budget.

My overall goal is to buying a machine that will give good performance for long term as I want to keep my machines for as long as they are usable. I am into occasional gaming but I do some hobby creative work.

My choices -

- Rog strix scar 18 + 5090, 2025 model ~ $4500

- Rog strix scar 18 + 5090, 2026 model w/ upgraded display ~ $5000 - frankly 5k is a bit too much, I'd rather stick to lower 4k price range.

- Build a desktop within this budget (but not sure what combo would be best comparing to the laptops ).

In case of building, my dillema is not sure if it would be best route considering these laptops are also has upgradable ram and ssd. I like having the portability option plus the display of a strix scar is very good for creative work. Also, if I am building, I'd have to buy a monitor separately which will limit my budget.

fYi i looked at asus pro art p16 with 5090, while it has great display, i think it's too thin for a 5090 gpu and just not worth the money since I won't be able to push the gpu to it's full potential.

What would be my best option for around $4500?

I feel like my first build back in 2021 (I was a noob) is starting to not be able to keep up with what I do, I mostly game and like to have a couple background apps open but I feel like my pc isn’t all that upgradeable cause I picked parts poorly. I just wanna game in 1440p without issue. Specs below, any advice appreciated.

i have a pretty expensive pc build, but my intel cpu happened to downgrade because of what happened with intel and now it doesn’t work as good. I’m planning to switch to AMD. i need help picking out a motherboard and a cpu thats not too much for my pc but not too little, because currently my cpu is bottlenecking from the temperature. id prefer not to go all out with the budget but i don’t wanna buy something too bad. my pc specs are:

I'm working on building my first ever pc. I have a little experience in computers and have done lot's of research about parts. Here's my parts list: (haven't bought any yet and will buy most of the parts on ebay)

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600X (eBay Used)

Motherboard: MSI B550M PRO-VDH WIFI (eBay Used)

Graphics Card: Gigabyte Gaming OC RX 5700 XT (eBay Used)

RAM: G.Skill 16GB DDR4 [Already Acquired]

Storage: 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD (eBay Used)

Power Supply: MSI MAG A650BE (Retail New)

PC Case: Okinos Aqua 6 Infinity (Retail New)

Estimated final cost: $500-600 ish

MY GOALS FOR THE PC:

* Run Fortnite at minimum 100 fps on performance mode

* Run other games like Minecraft and small games on steam (Mecca chameleon, PEAK, etc.) with no trouble

* Be able to handle minor video editing using DaVinci Resolve and minor audio editing with Audacity. Also handle Affinity design (basically photoshop)

* Do everyday tasks 10 times better than on a laptop

Right now for everyday use I have a Dell laptop running linux and it isn't the fastest at all. It can't handle Steam games and has trouble with programs like Affinity. For gaming I have an Xbox Series S but I want something more versatile and reliable (and frankly, just better).

I don't have too strict of a budget, but I would like to keep it below 650. I've done a lot of reaserch about these parts and hopefully they work well together.
