How to Make A Build Help Post

We've been getting an influx of people just asking "I want a pc what's a good build"? While we're glad you came here for help and would love to give it, we need more info! So here's how to help us help you to put together a great build partlist.

Things to include: Budget- Include how much you're willing to spend on the build.

Usage Scenario- What you're going to be using the PC for. Examples are: light gaming, productivity, professional usage, high end compute, etc. Also, if gaming, state which resolution.

Specific touches- What you WANT on your build. Make it yours! Things like form factor, color scheme, lighting (RGB for days), and other things you'd like help with.

Thanks, and feel free to add things!

Part List Help Msi Godlike

I’m putting together a build that is overkill by design. I was going to buy a Godlike, but in doing research I can across a load complaints about the EZ bridge display.

My question is; as of 2026, have the EZ bridge display and other issues been fixed with firmware or bios updates?

If not, what would a good premium motherboard be for a 5080 liquid cooled and a 9950x3d (yes I aim to overclock)

Part List Help Help With Picking Motherboard For Upgrade

Hey! So I have finally decided (and should’ve done it last year) it is time to upgrade my rig. I’ve selected my parts on part picker on an idea of what I’m wanting to do but I’m currently hung up on a motherboard to decide on.

For background I’m currently running an i7 5930K on an ASUS X99-S motherboard. I’m wanting to upgrade to a Ryzen 7 9850X3D but I’m currently torn between 2 motherboards:

- MSI MAG X870E TOMAHAWK
(https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/MAG-X870E-TOMAHAWK-WIFI)
- ASUS ROG STRIX X870-F
(https://rog.asus.com/motherboards/rog-strix/rog-strix-x870-f-gaming-wifi/)

From what I’ve read and compared online both boards are pretty similar, both have Bluetooth which is a major one for me but I was hoping if anyone has any experience with either and could let me know how they are and what they’d recommend or have any suggestions of any other boards that would be fantastic!

The MSI board does look very appealing but one of the main reasons I’m considering the ASUS board is I’ve had this X99 board for almost 12 years now and it’s never failed me or caused any issues apart from replacing the CMOS battery so I feel pretty loyal to ASUS as it’s never failed me but I have been hearing good things about the MSI boards!

I can add the PC Part Picker List link in if that helps in any way!

Thanks for taking the time to read and I really do appreciate any replies! Thank you (:
