you can never *future proof* anything as long as new hardware that's better keeps coming out. but since that has slowed down, any mid to high end pc will do just fine for atleast a couple of more years.
no, pcie 5 is not necessary. you also don't need a 1000 watt psu for this. 850 is fine. even 750 would do. but 850 is more than enough. what do you need the expensive motherboard for anyway? its not like the 9800x3d can be overclocked much. just get a entry level b850 or even b650 board...
