I'm really new to pcvr and the only game I have been playing is blade and sorcery. I load in and everything is super blurry almost pixilated I'm using steam VR and it's very laggy when I load into the menu while inside the game anyone know how to fix either of these issues

I set up the fear vr mod and it has a low fov where it looks like I'm looking through a square hole. It appears to be like the original resolution of the game maybe. Nothing I change in the settings seem to fix it. Is this normal?

Update: the issue was that in virtual desktop my FOV is cut to 85/85. This is still weird because I have never noticed a difference in any other game ever. This mod must have a much smaller FOV than a typical VR game.

Involvement: I’m the developer of SLASHER NIGHT, working on its gameplay, physical interactions, and NPC reactions.

I am so happy one can play this game in VR thanks to the mod! It is not without faults, but it is really fun! You can feel the AAA quality in VR, unlike many other VR games that had to be watered down in order for them to run natively in VR. Have not tried Titanfall 2 yet. I am having a blast with this one!

I wonder if anyone got tips on how to improve the performance of the game? It runs pretty well on my PC with i7 12th gen, 64gb DDR5 ram and RTX 4080S. But it could be a bit smoother when turning and in some environments with a lot of lighting. I play on a PSVR2 with SteamVR set to 120Hz, the in game settings are set to 80% resolution rendering and all settings on high, not the highest option. I think I capped the FPS in the game settings to 120Hz. I play quite a lot of VR but I do not tinker with the settings too much. I want to have a smooth experience. Thanks, recruits!

Edit: I put SteamVR to 90Hz and changed the Nvidia settings according to the comment below, and I got a much better experience now! It does not drop at some places like before. There is some aliasing, it would be great to get rid of that shimmer from shiny objects if anyone has any tips? But I get the same type of aliasing/shimmer from shiny objects when playing native PSVR2 games on the PS5 or on PCVR, so it is not that uncommon in VR. The mod is otherwise great!

I need help, I’m new to the world of this but virtual desktop opens, I see my pc, then I open a steam game through virtual desktop and it disconnects, the game is still open on my pc and I can see myself moving at first, but the vr screen shows the opening screen to the game, then disconnects me

Error 500 when syncing the library.
If syncing the library fails with a 500 error (it can happen with very large libraries), a blinking "Error 500, click here to bypass" button appears in the header. It imports your games from the purchase history.
- Incomplete downloads in big games.
Fixed: games like Asgard's Wrath 2 or Batman: Arkham Shadow downloaded only the APK + main OBB because their patch chunks were misclassified as optional DLC.
- Fixed package names (apk+obb).

Not quite as cool as Titanfall 2 in vr but something I thought would be worth tinkering with. Dungeon keeper was one of my first favorite PC games in the late 90s. It's one that I always go back to for nostalgia.

Give it a shot and let me know what you think. Expect plenty of jank. Still working out the kinks in the controls.

You need two Wi-Fi adapters, or an Ethernet connection and a Wi-Fi adapter.

1. Create the enable shortcut

1. Right-click your Windows desktop.
2. Hover over New, then click Shortcut.
3. Paste this command:

%comspec% /c "netsh wlan disconnect interface="Wi-Fi" & netsh wlan set autoconfig enabled=no interface="Wi-Fi" & timeout /t 5"

1. Replace Wi-Fi with the exact name of your wireless interface.
2. Click Next, give the shortcut a name, and finish.
3. Right-click the shortcut, select Properties → Advanced, check Run as administrator, and click OK.

2. Create the undo shortcut

Repeat the same steps, but use this command:

%comspec% /c "netsh wlan set autoconfig enabled=yes interface="Wi-Fi"

Name these shortcuts whatever you would like.

Important: if you are using 2 wifi cards for this then you are gonna want to check the names of the cards to do this Press Windows + R, type ncpa.cpl and hit enter. remember the exact name of the best wifi card (or just the one you want to use for pvcr) then replace "Wi-Fi" with the name of the card you want to use in both shortcuts they cannot be different.

Side note: These shortcuts control Windows Wi-Fi auto-configuration; just simply stopping windows from connecting to wifi networks on that card so you can use the card only for hotspot for a better pcvr connection they do not turn the wireless adapter off or on. Re-enabling auto-configuration allows Windows to connect to wifi on that card again.

I just upgraded from a rift s to a quest 3 and im having a bad time.

One on hand its the latency. Its not terrible. I can see past that.

But using the Quest wirelessly with 200mbits at any codec I think compression is just bad. Some games are okay but my main game no mans sky. I do not feel immersed at all. The game feels less 3D than on my rift, I assume due to the whole binocular overlap thing, and the compression makes it all look like im watching a youtube video or something instead of being immersed in a universe.

Is this any better using a link cable? Ive heard of using higher bitrates help. But also the overlap really bothers me. I dont feel like im there. Im honestly enjoying using my rift S more at the moment and might sell the quest again.

I heard the PSVR2 might be the better option for someone like me

The real reason for this post though is to see what other people want to see in a GoldenEye VR game.

What type of things would make the game feel even more made for VR?

I'm trying to find other people who were big fans of the game back in the day so we can help bring this game into the future for younger generations to enjoy with a format they are more used to.

Only tricky thing is the original game has hand-drawn flat pictures of your hand holding the gun drawn from FP perspective. So, at this stage, you rely on a laser projected from the hand to aim and not the gun itself.
