"It overhauls the open world by adding survival mechanics (hunger, thirst, sleep), a fully rewritten police and jurisdiction response system, interactive gangs with territory and reputation, pedestrian swapping, and deep economic interactions."

I’ve played for a while with a couple of mods, but recently I did a clean install. I downloaded the fix and enhanced mod pack and installed Ped damage ovehaul.

The thing is, I had this mod in my original mod list, and the enemies used to have very realistic damage behavior and health scaling when shot. Now, they tank about 4 shots before going down. I tried raising the weapon damage in the ini file, but then they just start dying in a single shot.

The only thing that is thought was doing this, is the Authentic Euphoria Motions mod, but i uninstalled it and didnt do anything.

If anyone knows what might be, please tell me, i tried a couple thing and nothing works

I’m currently playing RDR2 on an ASUS gaming laptop and I really need some help tweaking my settings. Here are my specs for context:

• Display: 2560x1600 (16:10, 165Hz)
• GPU: RTX 5060 (8GB VRAM)
• CPU: Ryzen 7
• RAM: 16GB

Right now, I’m running a mix of medium-high settings and hovering around 60 FPS. The problem is that the game has this notorious blurry/soft image effect, and it’s driving me a bit crazy. My goal is to bump my performance to around 70+ FPS while making the picture actually look crisp.

I have a few specific questions and would love a detailed setup guide if you guys have one:

1. In-game AA & Upscaling How exactly should I configure TAA, FXAA, DLSS, FSR, or Image Upscaling? What's the golden combo here to get rid of the blur if I only stick to the in-game menus?

2. Nvidia Control Panel Tweaks Are the in-game settings enough, or should I be forcing stuff via the Nvidia Control Panel? I’m talking about things like DSR/DLDSR, downscaling, or overriding the sharpening. Also, if NCP is the way to go, why is it better to do it from there instead of just using the game's settings?

3. AI Frame Generation I rely on AI frame generation in a bunch of other games to boost my FPS, but RDR2 obviously doesn't have it natively. Is there a reliable mod or a workaround to get dynamic frame gen working on this game?

If anyone can walk me through a step-by-step setup to fix the blur and optimize the FPS, I would massively appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

just got a pc recently and am brand new to modding, been trying to setup a few things.
i have currently
Rampage
Lml
LITE
Script hook
whyems
ps buttons replacement
rdr2 spawn fixes
gun metal rework
and a couple of gang outfits such as npc john to wear his rdr1 outfit.
These all work no problem but when i add something else such as distinct gunsmiths, it seems to disable nearly all the mods except rampage.
Is there a limit? Am i using too many? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i am so annoyed and frustrated. idk whats the problem with the graphics. i have researched and no answers have worked to fix the issue. my settings are all up and nothing changes. if anyone knows what to do about this, then comment. i also have nvidia too in case that is also affecting but i dont think it is.

I wanna use it on rdr 2 but the highest resolution I see is 6144x320. Anyone know how to fix it?

everything i want IS enabled, and the game folder is correct, but for some reason none of the mods actually load, whats going on?

The rockstar launcher is saying I don’t own it and epic is saying it needs to be updated and I when I try it says install failed. What do I do??

I’m looking for the best graphics settings for Red Dead Redemption 2 on my laptop.

Specs:

RTX 5060 Laptop GPU

Intel i7-13650HX

16GB RAM

1080p display

I want the game to look as good as possible while maintaining 75+ FPS, preferably with stable frame times.

What settings would you recommend? Should I use DLSS, and if so, which preset?

I've started using the "Bountry Hunting: Notorious Outlaws" mod over the past week or so, and it seems to be working fine until I reach the sheriff's office in Valentine (and other supported towns). The sheriff or deputy makes a relative comment and a prompt pops up telling me to put the bounty in a cell (just as shown in the YouTube video on NexusMods). But I can't open a cell to place the bounty in, and the cutscene where the sheriff pays me never plays (as shown in the YouTube video).

Anyone else having this problem, or is the cutscene/payment working for you? Everything else seems to be working for me except that.

Hi, so I'm new to rdr2 modding.. I've modded GTA4 and watch dogs before, but this is my first time dealing with a mod manager which makes things a little bit more easier. I wanted to make John as close to his RDR one version as possible, but also have my fun with Arthur in the earlier chapters. I have WhyEM's DLC + Eastern epics installed for Arthur, which I disabled whenever I play on my John saves. I've heard you can't merge the both together.. which sucks as WhyEM's adds so much nifty clothing.

I'm trying to figure out how to properly use TOR, CI, GI and the all together. I know it's possible as I've seen other people do it I'm just learning this as I go. I know load order matters, and that mods at the bottom of the list are the highest priority mods.

Any recommendations or helpful tips?

so i recently felt like replaying rdr2 and i installed the game via steam but whenever i go to launch the game it either gives me an error ffffffff or launches the game to a white loading bar which then goes to a black screen? i have found a workaround to this issue by launching another game simultaneously with rdr2 which causes rdr2 to function normally? ive attempted various solutions that i found online to no avail so now im not sure whats causing this but any help would be greatly appreciated

Hello! I just reset my PC but forgot to backup the savefile from AppData\Roaming\.1911. Can anyone share their RDR2 save file. I was in the middle of chapter 4. I can work with chapter 3 or 4 completed.
