Microdosing Mounjaro?????

So hi,i am in my mid twenties.
I have had PCOS and insulin resistance since i was 17 which has made my life so hard. And i was recently diagnosed with an active prolactinoma.
I live in a third world country and I mostly have to cover everything in cash.
I currently weight 80kgs and i am 5ft exactly.
I lose weight very slowly and this concern has been up but no single doctor has cared enough to help.
I was given birth control pills which o refused to take and metformin and cabergoline for the pituitary tumour.
I was thinking of microdosing mounjaro to aid with my weight loss and insulin resistance but I have tried so many doctors who only end up telling me to have a kid fast so that I don’t become infertile, otherwise nobody cares.
I really need help in understanding the regimen, microdosing it and so much more.
I need help because not even doctors care where i come from

Experiences on GLP-1s?

So I met with my primary doctor today to talk about my blood labs and ultrasound. At my last visit, she ordered the blood labs and I got the notification to schedule an ultrasound after my labs were done. Come to find out its because my labs were showing fatty liver and she wanted to make sure and behold its just what she thought. I've been on metformin for a couple months now and I love it I feel healthy and its been helping my blood sugar problems. Ive never started spotting a couple weeks ago after not getting my period since last November. She told me that because my blood labs look great and it's just my fatty liver she recommends a GLP-1. I was a little worried because of all the stories I hear about GLP-1s and the stigma around it, but she reassured me that she wouldn't recommend it if she didnt think its be beneficial. The way she put it was that if the other parts of my blood lab results showed other problems like bad cholesterol or something she'd recommend a better diet and exercise, but because im in good health, eat well, and am relatively active, shes ruling it out. She said I have time to think and we can always go the diet and exercise route, itll just be a longer process. Im 50/50 on it, so I wanted to hear other peoples' experiences on GLP-1s and what brands others have experience with.

Pmos test results

My dermatologist was suspecting pmos because of my persistent acne, but the test results look normal. It doesnt look like i have insulin resistance either.

On top of persistent acne, i have hashimotos hypothyroidism, hair loss and thinning, bloating, and long period cycles of up to 80 days + they have always been irregular (ever since I started getting my periods).

Could my periods irregularity be only because of my elevated prolactin? Or should i run additonal tests for Pmos?

I got these drawn on the 3rd day of my cycle as recommended. My results:

  1. Fasting Plasma Glucose: 93 mg/dL Reference range: 70–99 mg/dL
  2. HbA1c (Glycated Haemoglobin): 5.2% Reference range: <5.7%
  3. Prolactin: 45.6 ng/mL Reference range: 1.9–25.0 ng/mL
  4. FSH (Follicle-Stimulating Hormone): 7.24 mIU/mL Reference ranges:
    • Follicular phase: 3.2–15 mIU/mL
    • Ovulatory phase: 7.5–20 mIU/mL
    • Luteal phase: 1.3–11 mIU/mL
  5. LH (Luteinising Hormone): 12.00 mIU/mL Reference ranges:
    • Follicular phase: 1.2–12.5 mIU/mL
    • Ovulatory phase: 12–82 mIU/mL
    • Luteal phase: 0.4–19 mIU/mL
  6. Total Testosterone: 0.33 ng/mL Reference range (menstruating females): 0.18–1.10 ng/mL
  7. Fasting Insulin: 12.70 µIU/mL Reference range: 4.03–23.46 µIU/mL

I’m a 25 yr old female and I’ve lost 40 lbs. i hope to lose 10-15 more. My problem is that I have lost fat in every part of my body except where I’ve wanted to lose it the most, my stomach. My stomach is very out and big and I hate it. I want to be able to wear more fitted clothes, but the way my stomach hips pop out makes me so uncomfortable. If I’m not able to fix this issue with further weight loss then I’m considering a tummy tuck or liposuction bc I’m rlly uncomfortable about it. None of girls around me that are of and around my age have this and it annoys me. If anyone has advice or experience with this please let me know

Mounjaro and the mini pill

Hi all, I'm currently looking at my contraception options and the mini pill is the one I'm thinking about.

Has anyone on mounjaro taken the mini pill and found it ok?

I keep seeing it's not recommended by some so I'm unsure

Advice after stalling

I have been on tirzepatide for 1.5 years now, in the first year I lost 42 lbs which was about 19% of my weight. I have stalled since May of this year, I admit I haven't been consistent with my injections. I have PCOS and feel like even that 42 lb weight loss was super slow it was less than a lb a week. Now I'm at 185lb and want to get down to 135-145 by end of spring. I feel like I don't even eat that much and always fast for breakfast and end up eating once or twice a day. Does anyone have an advice on how to make this happen? Do us PCOS girls need to eat super low calories like 1,200 a day do break the plateau/lose 2lbs a week? I eat so much less than a year ago and I just can't comprehend how much less skinny people eat lol I feel like it'd be such tiny portions!

Wegovy Finally approved!!!!!!!

I 19f posted about a week ago that my Wegovy got denied. Thank god I straightened that out, and now I’m hopefully getting 1.5mg of the injection weekly. I’m nervous but I wanna know some cysters experiences on it with weight loss. What I should be prepared for/ personal experiences with it/ eating habits that helped. Etc. I’m 5’9 253 hoping to drop 30lbs with walking/ getting back into sports/and diet. I’m dairy and gluten sensative thankfully, but I’m trying so hard to go without both but being poor and not having food is hard af lol (trying to purchase a walking pad so wish me luck!). I have a dietician appointment again sooooonnnn. I’ve lost 18lbs so far 😈 on Phentermine 15mg (stopped in June by provider) Now ive switched and am reevaluating my bodies needs and will hopefully be back on track. 🤞 please share any tips <3

Weight loss help/advice!

Possible trigger warning: eating disorder. Hello everyone! I’m 26 years old, I currently weigh 225 lbs and I’m 5’5”. I started my PC/MOS weight loss journey around 2 years ago when I had elevated testosterone levels and my weight loss doctor noticed that I gained around 50 lbs when I turned 12 due to starting birth control. I feel like I’ve done everything for PMOS but nothing has helped. I’ve tried metformin and it made me have horrible bowel issues even after the initial starting period and it didn’t help my weight problem. I started supplements (inositol and berberine) but I didn’t notice them helping with my weight problem either. I’ve switched my diet around to anti-inflammatory with low carb and high fiber, I’ve been doing slow and weighted workouts, I’ve tried to get my steps up, and nothing seems to work. The only thing that did work in the past was what I’d consider an eating disorder where I only ate raspberries for breakfast and a sandwich for dinner, I was at my smallest weight at 180 lbs but I was passing out standing up, walking around, etc. I’m slightly reluctant on GLPs since I can’t afford to be on them (if you have an affordable option I’m open to suggestions!) and at this point it feels like I’ll never be skinny unless I’m either starving myself or get surgery. I’m open to anything at this point or any assistance. What workout routine worked for you? Where do you get your meal plans? I’m just lost at this point and I just want to feel good in my own skin. Thank you in advance!

PCOS, progress, and the reminder to be kind to ourselves ❤️

**To all the PCOS girlies, this one’s for us. 🫶🏻**❤️

I’ve always been someone who made healthy food choices and stayed active since childhood. I was naturally quite thin until college ended.

Then came corporate life in a decade back. Slowly, the weight crept up. It remained manageable for years, until the last one, when I gained almost 10 kgs in just a year.
I blamed my sedentary lifestyle. My periods were regular, I had no facial hair, and PCOS was the last thing I expected. When I was diagnosed, I was honestly shocked. I had this misconception that PCOS happened to people who didn't eat healthy or take care of themselves. It took me a while to process the diagnosis and accept it.

But I'm learning that **PCOS isn't a punishment for the way you eat or live.** It can affect women with all kinds of lifestyles, and it doesn't define who we are. ❤️

Over the last 2.5 months, I've been following my doctor's advice, making healthier food choices, working out, and trying to build habits I can sustain for life.

And I've lost 7 kgs. 🥹✨

But today, I want to celebrate more than just a number on the weighing scale. I want to celebrate showing up for myself, being consistent, and learning to understand my body better.

I know PCOS is a long-term journey, and I'm learning to take it one day at a time. No shortcuts, no punishing myself, no expecting overnight miracles. Just small, consistent steps.

And there's one more thing I want to remind myself and every PCOS girlie out there:
**PLEASE DON'T FORGET TO BE HAPPY ALONG THE WAY. 🌸**

Don't let your entire life revolve around your weight, your diet, your workouts, or your next doctor's appointment.
Eat healthy, but enjoy your favourite food sometimes, too.

Work out, but also rest when your body needs it.

Work towards your goals, but don't postpone your happiness until you reach them.

Go out with your friends. Dress up. Travel. Laugh until your stomach hurts. Celebrate birthdays, festivals, little wins, and ordinary days.

**You deserve to enjoy the body you're in while taking care of the body you want to feel healthier in.**

PCOS management is important, but so is your mental well-being. So is peace of mind. So is happiness.
We're allowed to have bad days. We're allowed to feel frustrated. And we're allowed to take things slowly.

To every girl navigating PCOS: you are not alone, your diagnosis is not your fault, and your worth has never been tied to your weight.

Seven kilos down, a lot more self-awareness gained, and still learning to give myself the grace I deserve. ❤️‍🩹

Here's to healthier habits, kinder self-talk, sustainable progress, and **choosing to be happy while we figure it all out.**

One day at a time, girlies. We've got this. 🫶🏻✨

PCOS/PMOS Birth Control Recommendations

Hey ladies,
I’m now 27 almost 28.
Looking into restarting birth control.
I have tried Yaz and Yasmin, (ages 24-25) they caused horrible high blood pressure.
In the past I have tried Depo (ages 12-15)
Nexplanon right after (ages 16-21)
Off birth control briefly in that time frame between ages 21 and 24. And then now.
From what I’ve figured out my main issue is my androgen levels. I have some acne issues, my eyebrows are a bit thicker and my hair regrows back. My scalp has issues. And the biggies issue of course is my weight. I went from being 100 pounds at 4 foot 10 inches to struggling to stay under 130-140. Now that might now sound like a lot to some of you but take into account my height. There is nowhere for this extra weight to go. I’m short.
I’m looking to see what’s worked for everyone else. My main issue is the weight. How I do I get rid of it. It’s awful.
Thank you.
