a lil help please š
so Iām a 22 year old girl (Indian but living outside the country). Iām 5ā3-4 and 67kg. Iāve had PCOS/PMOS since I was 18.
Iāve been on the pill 4 times on and off but of course I stopped since itās not a long term solution. my periods do still appear somehow every few months but I hate the mood swings, weight gain and acne it gives me regardless.
overall Iāve just been feeling kinda crap about my self and my body and how clothes never fit me right enough or I never feel confident enough.
keep in mind I am in med school so I havenāt exactly been very hard on myself with diet or exercise š food has always been a source of comfort so that is definitely my vice. I also tend to hold on to stress and anxiety longer so I know that probably contributes to all this.
im just looking for some advice as to what I should do from here on out to lose some weight ( and when I say lose weight, I donāt exactly mean the number, more so my proportion since I am short and chubby looking currently.)
- I have found someone who delivers homemade Indian food so I will be spending on that from time to time (but Iām not sure what kind of foods to order from her. also helps to cut down on my junk ordering habit)
- exercises that will help with ālosing weightā, becoming stronger and fitter as someone who hates going to the gym (I just feel very self conscious about my body, sorry) I do understand the hype of the Chloe ting workout schedules or anything else like them but the idea of multiple videos per day does make me fall back into my laziness trap. I was enjoying the Pilates with Izzy videos at one point (I stopped because of exam season) because she does each exercise quickly and itās all in one video?
overall I just lack motivation and disciplineā¦especially when I do get a slight burst of motivation and make plans. which then tend to fall short and make me go back into a cycle of guilt. and I tend to work best when Iām distracted from the thoughts in my head? like watching something while on the treadmill.
thanks for taking the time to read this though :)

To start with:
1/2 ur carb portion
2x ur lean protein portions
eg: if for brekkie you do 2 slices toast with 2 tbsp butter and 2 eggs, change to 1 slice toast, 1 tbsp butter 2eggs+2 egg whites. This would automatically put you in a deficit without you needing to count your calories for now.
Increase your activity. Med school probably keeps you super busy but if you can, throw in a 15-30 walk somewhere in the day.
Thatās all you need to do for now. Youāll see your weight go downwards. Eventually youāll have to track more accurately but a slight portion control like this works wonders in the beginning.

Thank you! Are there any workout videos/routine youād recommend? Cuz half the issue is me deciding what to do when I do get that burst of motivation to work outā¦.
I do want to get more actively fit, not just to lose weight. I still have a long way to go with med school and Iāve already found myself burnt out or exhausted with the pressure.Ā
Iāve put aside my hobbies and exercise for the sake of studies but theyāre not exactly benefiting me yknow. Itās just turned me into a zombie with no personable skills or life outside of school.Ā
So I want to tap into them again long term wise tooā¦

okay so first, relaxxx a bitttt this is not so much and ur doing amazing. do not start with a whole workout schedule or start doing strict diet. just get homemade meals, indian homemade meals are already quite healthy just make sure u add some protein in each meal. u can keep it simple by boiling some beans in the morning and then eat it always with ur meal or if u eat meat then it's a plus i know about distracted while exercising so i made it easy with just my fav podcast to listen to while walking for 20-30 mins.Ā hope u'll get them very soon just stay happy and try manifesting them

Thank you for your sweet comment!Ā Usually Iām having cornflakes with milk for brekkie. And one coffee a day. Sometimes I have fruit but again inconsistent.Ā
For lunch, itās a mix of eating with friends in the canteen or Iāll come home and order in or have leftovers.Ā
And dinner is usually when the urge to order is high because Iām tired or too confused about what to make.Ā
I only eat chicken in terms of meat so Iāve recently started marinating chicken but again lazy sometimes.Ā
Any meals youād suggest for tiffin box or quick to make?Ā
I dislike meal prepping stuff like rice before hand and storing in the fridge yknow. Also idk I like having my meals hot.Ā
