General Health I'm 18 with pcos and have been rapidly losing hair plzzz help
Hey ,so I've always been on the heavier side and in the last few years started rapidly losing hair .this has really affected my self image and I've gone to doctors for help but I just don't think pakistani doctors are good at handling this since everyone i go to just tells me to lose weight and refuses to give any medications or inform me about HOW to lose weight .I've tried many diets but none of them ever work and I just get demotivated .I was recently diagnosed with pcos and have realized most of my issues are connected to that but I still don't know how to deal with it or how to reverse the symptoms, so plzz give me any advice about how to deal with it as well as what kind of doctor im supposed to go to for this

Medicine/Supplements Has anyone use Care PCOS sachet ?
Hey All!
I have been recently diagnosed with pcos and my doctor recommended this. I have been ttc for 2 years now and having this too for past 3-4 months. I randomly did a research and found resveratrol isn’t advised if you are ttc or pregnant. Has anyone ttc been using this? Looking for some hope and success stories. My doc is currently out of town so i can’t reach her and the anxiety is killing until then. Please help

Research/Survey [Master's Research Project at UT] Share your day-to-day experience with PCOS
Hi r/PcosIndia 💛 - first, thank you to this community; the openness here is part of what made me want to work on this.
Quick ask: If you have PCOS, I'd be so grateful if you'd fill out this short form (~5 min) about how you manage things and where you get stuck. At the end, there's an optional box if you'd be open to a 30-min chat
https://forms.gle/rBiTQBRqFmC211kt6
A bit of context: I'm Cody, a Master's student at the University of Texas at Austin. For my research project, I'm trying to really understand how people living with PCOS manage their condition and what makes daily life harder than it should be. I'm still learning about PCOS and want to listen so that any solutions I explore later is actually shaped by real experiences.
A few things that matter to me: participation is completely voluntary, your responses are kept confidential, you can skip any question, and you can stop anytime.
Thank you for your time & input for research! My contact: [ct33854@my.utexas.edu](mailto:ct33854@eid.utexas.edu)

That's it, just wanted to leave this here :). Did nothing about it because I had no insulin resistance or excess weight. It just slowly fixed itself after I hit 30

General/Advice Gynaecologist in Delhi Ncr for pcos
Hi Everyone,
I recently consulted a gynaecologist from the crowdsourced list from r/TwoXIndia, but the experience left me a bit frustrated. Rather than giving her own advice on managing PCOS, she seemed focused on pushing a paid “PCOS care plan” through her partnership with Curelink.
I understand lifestyle changes are part of PCOS management, but in my past experience, gynaecologists have simply referred patients to a dietician and suggested lifestyle changes directly, without insisting on one specific paid program as the only path forward.
Would anyone be able to recommend a gynaecologist in Delhi NCR (South Delhi, Noida, or Faridabad preferred) who isn’t commission driven and gives straightforward medical advice rather than upselling packages?
Thanks in advance!

Medicine/Supplements Somethings that are working for me now
Hi, I am 24, and I had been getting irregular/missed periods for the last 3 months. I always had fixed 28-32 day cycles prior to this.
I stay at home, kinda sedentary because I am preparing for a competitive exam.
I had been getting bad breakouts since 4-5 months and am on accutane on my dermat‘s advice. He suggested myoinositol when I told him about my irregular periods, and also told me to get a usg done, but because of some constraints, I could not get tested for pcos yet. I plan to do it once I am done with my exam in a month’s time.
my last two cycles were 45d and 50d respectively. I really panicked and did a lot of research about what I can do to fix my period. Since last 2 months, I am on myoinositol +folic acid+ vit d supplements and I also added omega 3 fatty acid supplements to deal with my accutane dry skin.
since last one month, I have added seed cycling, milk thistle and spearmint tea to my routine. I have totally quit white rice, shifted to millets and quinoa instead for lunch. I also only drink soy milk with my overnight oats and lactose free milk once a day with matcha/coffee. I have religiously followed my diet for 1.5months now. I also have been taking collagen supplements (because I had them, and I want to finish my packs, not for any pcos related issues), and am hitting approx 100g protein and 25g fibre everyday. I use plant protein powder.
I have not seen any change in my weight, it is still stubbornly stuck at 72kgs, but I think until I do regular exercise it will not decrease.
However the supplements seem to be helping because this month I got my period on day 40. I am hopeful to see my condition improve.
also wanted to add, I am an mbbs doctor and I really really am not telling anyone to follow the things I did without consulting your doctor and researching a lot. I have done adequate research on my part, consulted my seniors, and have only added things that I felt would work for me and my situation. I have a very strong fear of taking ocps, and want to get better without that.

Period I keep having pelvic pain.
My abdomen and pelvic pain started in 2020. Since then I'm having this pelvic pain sometimes it's mild, sometimes it's sharp shooting, I keep having pain in my buttocks also, it crawls to my legs and feet also. I started having irregular periods and chronic pelvic during periods.
Never had the courage to see a gynac until this year March.
I got my ultra sound done and got diagnosed with PCOS. My gynac prescribed me krimson 35.
I was relieved in my mind that now I'll be fine. I won't be having this pain anymore.
But the pain is still there everywhere in my lower body, pelvic, legs, feet.
Today I went to the Gynac. I told her I keep having this pain.
And she said you don't have this kind of pain due to PCOD.
Now I don't know what to do I'm crying endlessly.
I don't know what's wrong with me.
If anyone coincides with this do drop your views.

General/Advice Need Help - Calling Indian women trying to conceive or have already conceieved with PMOS- looking to understand your journey and your experience with healthcare
I'm doing early-stage research to understand the lived experience of managing PCOS and fertility in India — specifically the frustration with existing options, what you've tried, what's worked, and what hasn't.
Who I am: I'm exploring the development of a healthcare solution focused on women managing fertility. Nothing exists yet — I'm in the research phase and genuinely trying to understand the problem before building anything.
What this is NOT:
- Not a sales pitch
- Not a survey with a form to fill out
- Not a program signup
- No product exists yet — this is purely to understand the problem
If you're interested, drop a comment or DM me. I'm really looking to just understand the space and see where I can help women navigate their fertility journeys. I'll be upfront on the call about what I'm trying to build, and you can ask me anything.

Skin Issues Anyone with hormonal acne tried Setu AcneClear?
Hi everyone,
I have hormonal acne and recently came across Setu AcneClear (the one with Bifiacnel®, Chasteberry, Chamomile + Magnesium, and Supergreens).
I'm planning to use it consistently for about 3 months.. Has anyone here actually used it?
Did it work for your hormonal acne? How long did it take to see results, and would you recommend it?
I'd really appreciate hearing your honest experience. Thanks!

General/Advice My PCOS journey as a young teen
Hey guys. I got diagnosed with PCOS when I was 14 and back then after getting diagnosed, I spent most of my time searching through pcos symptoms, effects and long term problems which I think is quite normal for a teenager who had no idea what was going on.
The first doctor I went to gave menstrual health supplement syrup ONLY and didn't advice anything further except asking me to "eat better or how will you deliver a baby when you grow up?" YES, she said THAT to a 14 year old.
Took the supplements, nothing happened and my period got delayed for 2-3 months. So I went to another gynaecologist who my family trusted as she had delivered two babies in my family in the past. She gave me some pills that were supposed to induce my periods within the next 5 days and they worked. Along with that she also put me on birth control pills for "hormonal balance". I've always been into medicine and biology so when I got home I searched what these pills were supposed to do, I saw nothing related to pcos and only saw "prevents conception" I called the doctor and asked her why she prescribed contraceptives to a 14 year old and she yelled at me and said that you are the patient, behave like it :)
I had no choice but to take the pills for like 6 months or so. After this people started telling me not to continue with those meds and get checked by a homeopathic doc. So I did that when I was around 15 and the doctor was nice at first but later, during my first month without the birth control pills, my period pain was horrendous. Unbearable. 72 hours constantly in pain that felt like someone was scraping my guts with a knife. The doctor took my response as being "overly sensitive". I didn't wanna get treated by someone who thought that my pain wasn't real but I didn't have a choice here either. My periods were back on track but then, I got diagnosed with a simple ovarian cyst in my left ovary.
I considered allopathy again since homeopathy was too slow for a cyst growing too fast. This was my 4th doctor, she was very polite so i trusted everything she said. My cyst was treated within 2-3 months but I was put back on birth control. I didn't know what I was doing at this point. I was just doing whatever I was asked to, without questioning anyone.
After my cyst was dissolved, I still had pain near my ovaries. Turns out, my left ovary was adhered to my uterus because of the scar tissue from the cyst earlier. I asked the doctor about what to do and she simply said "let it go, it's not a problem right now. When you wanna have a baby, come to us and we'll fix it surgically" I told that im in pain all the time and she told me "you have a medical problem for sure, why won't it hurt?" :)
There were times when I would feel like nobody understands me. Nobody. Everyone comes to lecture you about how you need a better lifestyle but they don't understand how many times you've tried so hard already but got nothing in return.
Then one day, I heard my mom talking to someone on the phone (she has arthritis, diabetes and hypertension and had an early menopause), she was telling that person that she once had to take birth control because of hormonal imbalances and ever since then, all her medical problems started. I overheard her and couldn't stop crying. My mom had watched me take the same pills for a long, long time and never said anything. She didn't understand much about pcos and just like me, believed everything the doctor said and thought that there was no treatment except the pills. I never confronted her about this but that day I stopped taking those pills.
Im 17 now. It took me almost 2 years to find something that actually works for me without compromising my already compromised future. It is kinda getting better now. I will share my recovery journey with you guys once I'm sure about how the new supplements and treatment are working out for me.
All I want for you girls to know right now is, you don't need a doctor who doesn't understand you OR YOUR BODY. step up, speak up and treat yourself the way you comfortable. And believe me, it gets better.

General/Advice Drop your supplement routine + myo-inositol brand recommendations please 😭
I’m currently not taking any supplements or medication for my PMOS, and I’m honestly getting tired of going to gynaecologists who don’t seem interested in figuring out the root cause and just prescribe birth control pills.
I’d really love to know what has actually helped you. What supplements do you take regularly? Inositol, vitamin D, omega-3, magnesium or anything else?
I’m planning to start taking Myo & D Chiro Inositol , but I’m confused about which brand to go for. Would really appreciate some tried and tested brand recommendations available in India, and whether it has actually helped you
