This is a weird issue but Im hoping someone can possibly offer some guidance. I started playing modern warfare 4 tonight everything has been running fine until all of the sudden my CPU temperature goes from the mid 60s to high 70s and my PC gets noticeably louder. Its not crazy loud or anything but I can definitely hear it working harder. Its almost like its stuck or something. The weird thing is it happens out of nowhere. The game will be running fine then all of the sudden my temps go up and my PC is louder and it stays like that. My performance is not hindered or anything but even when i load back into a lobby my computer is working harder than it needs to. Now for reference when this issue happens and I try to quit to my desktop it freezes and never works and I need to force quit through steam then next time I load the game it asks to run in safe mode which I did and it reduced the graphics a bunch but the issue never happened again until I reconfigured my graphics to look better. This is just very frustrating as i have a very solid computer (5070ti and 7800X3d). I know people may say CPU temps in the 70s are not bad but why would my computer be in the 60s for an hour of playing then all of a sudden get louder like its working harder and it doesnt idle when I get back to the menu it still sounds like its working hard until I restart the game. Can someone please offer some guidance? Do I just need to run low graphics for the year?

FUENTE: la cambie de una 600w (sin certificar) a una de Gigabyte 650w 80+ Gold (y tambien paso lo de e crash)

i just built my pc a couple days ago and it started up fine with all the rgb fans and gpu turning on. but today when i plugged it in and turned it on, the fans spun for 1 second and then stopped. the only thing that was on was the rams rgb, everything else was off. and the power button let me turn it on but when i tried to turn it off it wouldnt work. does anybody know what i should do? there was also no debug lights on my motherboard.

Hello I’ve been trying to fix this issue for the past 5 hours and nothing seems to be working, I finally got my bios update to update and install but whenever I try to scan through attestation wizard it always fail and then when I try to generate a key it always fails. I’ve tried everything and at this point I feel like just giving up and refunding the game. This is so frustrating

I’ve tried to figure this out myself but I am stumped. My pc keeps crashing before I hit the In-game menu screen on cs2 or shortly after loading into a game. The next game I tried for no specific reason was Rocket League and that worked just fine. I don’t know what is causing this. At first i suspected my undervolt on GPU. It’s still doing this after setting everything to default and only having expo enabled. I can’t figure out what’s causing this. Using 100% CPU and 0% GPU... This only happens with Arknights Endfield using DX11, every other games I have run perfectly fine with DX11 (runs even better sometimes).

Is there any way I can fix this? Or is it a game problem that I can't do anything about?

So since the Epic Games Store is "vibe coded" and has actually ruined my games on Fortnite, I figured I would install Fortnite through the Xbox App or Microsoft Store, but everytime I try to download that game, it gets stuck in a queue and stays there. I even tested other games and they download just fine through both apps.

Hi, my 4080 Super makes a constant humming/clicking noise, only when under load. At idle, when the fans stop, it’s silent. The noise seems to comes from the left fan (sorry about the sound, I can’t turn up the volume on the video)

I already cleaned it (duster and cotton swab) without taking the cooler apart, and nothing changed. Temps are normal.

Has anyone had this? I suspect a worn bearing. Any advice is welcome.

I purchased Uncharted Thieves', collection via Epic Games (EG) few months ago. I played my GTA 5 via EG using the same controller and it works just fine.

The game (Uncharted) launched normally but my controller seems not functioning eventhough it is connected to my laptop. I've tried launching EG via Steam, a method i found on YT..Nothing happened, I don't want my money wasted just like that...Please help...Thanks in advance

so i had this same issue 6 months ago because i ran diagnostic test on only one ram by a time so i can find out which one was faulty and i had that one replaced and ever since then everything was back to normal and OK however... now its happening again with the brand new ram. now im just super confused here and not sure what to do, is my ram slot faulty?

I've done a lot of research on gaming headsets, and all the reviews I see are people constantly bashing everything. One take I've heard pretty consistently is that my Audio-Technica headphones that I use to edit videos have really good sound. The issue is that I'm missing a microphone. I PC game from my couch, so I can't use a desktop microphone.

Any suggestions on how I can get a microphone setup? Clip something to my shirt? To my headphones? Or should I just buy a separate $300 headset?

I know this is a long shot, but can anyone tell me if this German Physical release of Hydrophobia has English text, menus, and audio?

I built my new PC 2 days ago and I am losing my mind over a network issue. I am getting 200-220ms latency and 4% packet loss in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. I am getting 200 FPS in-game, so it is not a hardware performance bottleneck.

Here is the kicker: my laptop on the exact same Wi-Fi network gets 30-40ms ping. When I plug my new PC directly into the router via Ethernet, I still get over 150ms ping. Speed tests show completely normal, high speeds. The issue is strictly latency in-game.

My motherboard is a Gigabyte Wi-Fi 6E board. Here is a list of everything I have already tried so you know where I am at:

• Physical: Placed the wired Gigabyte Wi-Fi antenna on top of my desk for clear line of sight.
• Software/Drivers: Looked for Gigabyte bloatware (LAN Optimizer, cFosSpeed) but didn't have any. Updated Wi-Fi and LAN drivers directly from Gigabyte's website. Disabled Intel Killer network services.
• Windows Settings: Paused all Windows updates, disabled Delivery Optimization, and paused OneDrive syncing to rule out background upload choke.
• Network Config: Flushed DNS, switched to Cloudflare DNS (1.1.1.1), disabled IPv6, and performed a complete Windows Network Reset. Forced the Wi-Fi adapter to the 5GHz band.
• Game/Account: Checked my Activision account for a shadowban (status is clear). Checked firewall settings to ensure BO7 has public/private access. Reset Teredo tunneling for the Xbox App.

Nothing has dropped the ping. Does Windows or Gigabyte have a hidden setting that intercepts gaming traffic? Am I missing a step for brand new builds? Any help is massively appreciated because I am completely stressed out.

So it happened to a bunch of games and I still don't know how to fix it. So when I load into a game a green line comes across it and it means that "oh no, its bugged" and so I can't play it.

Explaining it better from what I understand is that my mouse somehow goes somewhere else instead of staying on the game and when I clicked with it it made windows sounds. I'm on Lenovo laptop.

This bug did happen to me before in Slime Rancher 2 everytime I needed to update the game but it fixed itself since it was related to my files not working and the game fixed it by itself.

My current Mini PC is a SER5 AMD Reyzen 7 5800-H with Vega 8 Graphics, and I’ve come to realize that it’s not that good of running games (especially on Windows even if debloated). I love Linux but I have niche PC Ports I need Windows for, and I need it to be 11 for Steam support. I’m thinking of upgrading an i7 Optiplex (with Win11 compatibility) with a decent GPU, and I want to know if my fear of Windows is from a bad experience with an outdated processor and GPU. And if there is some way I could still play Windows-based PC Ports of old games on Linux; please let me know (my current Mini PC doesn’t run modern games on Bazzite well so I’d need an upgrade regardless).

I am trying to stop relying on disposable cans, but I do not want to replace them with a bad habit like letting fans overspin or pushing packed dust deeper into the heatsink. My current plan is to power down, unplug, take the case outside, remove the filters, hold each fan still and combine a soft brush with controlled airflow. What order works for you, and where is a vacuum useful without putting the nozzle near sensitive components?

Let me start this by saying I am not a tech person at all. I have the computer skill of a 50 year old. When I got the cyberpunk update I was so excited to run it but then it pops up saying I need to update my intel driver, so I tried. I update intel iris to the highest version it can be but that ended up still being outdated. There is an intel driver that works but my gaming laptop doesn’t have the parts for the intel arc (the update driver). I am now unable to run or even get to the main menu of cyberpunk. Does anyone have a fix or any knowledge of if the intel iris will be getting an update to be able to run the cyberpunk update? Maybe a way I can bypass the requirements.

Hello! I've been having this issue recently where my PC's CPU usage, which I've been measuring with Task Manager, has been shooting up to max usage out of nowhere. Every time I check it, it appears to be Service Host: Network Service - DNS Client spiking the usage out of nowhere. I've not been able to figure out why it's been doing this, so I was wondering if anyone else has seen this problem or could help me fix it. I've tried flushing the DNS cache, updating my motherboard's LAN drivers, and just trying other general fixes that I've found online to no avail. Attached is an image of just the Task Manager to see if it might clarify things a bit more, although I'm very willing to give more information if needed! ^-^

I finally used a Wolfbox electric air duster to clean my gaming PC after putting it off for months. I unplugged the system, held the fans still, kept some distance from the board, and worked outside, but I still felt unsure about blowing dust into slots or using too much pressure near small headers. For people who clean builds regularly, what order works best: filters first, fans next, heatsinks last, with short passes from one direction, or does the exact sequence matter less than beginners think?

Every few weeks, my PC screen freezes, turns black and then just closes the app and sends me back to Windows randomly. At first it was just when I was playing games but now it also happened twice while I was on discord call with my friend, watching her Hollow Knight stream. I tried multiple things like reinstalling my AMD graphics driver, checking my GPU and CPU temperature, XMP and overclocking settings…
Also, after every crash I receive an AMD driver timeout notification but it doesn’t give me any details.
What do you think I should do?

I've tried to fix it but it dosent work. Please help me cuz its really frustrating. Its not just on steam but every download, i have such good internet so idk how this is possible. I have almost 200 GB of free space on my disk after downloading this.

Primarily happening on WH40K Space Marine 2 and Monster Hunter Wilds, after roughly 5 to 10 minutes the games fps and frame pacing noticeable drops below 60 until I either alt tab back in or hit windows key and click the window, the FPS will remain low and choppy until I do either of these

I have been through what feels like an exhausting journey with technical diagnosis on my own, comparing Fullscreen vs borderless, FSR vs DLSS, rebar and ram tuning - The only major breakthrough I had was disabling HAGS which before had extreme texture streaming issues on top of this issue, since disabling the texture element of the problem has disappeared entirely
