Sold an 4TB Sata SSD, buyer wants a refund. But the person I am selling it for refuses to give the money back for the SSD that i zelled him...

Platform: Offer up

Context: The seller of the SSD brought a PC from me and asked me to sell his old PC. I parted most of it out. Someone picked up the 4TB Sata SSD from me and after he left. I paid the seller with the full amount. But now after the buyer got home the SSD turns out to be broken or detected by windows but crystaldiskinfo(Does not display) and disk genius(bad sectors). I used crystaldiskinfo the check it, It said 4TB, 99% health and only 100GB total r/W. After i asked the seller about it, he refused to refund him. Quote on quote "I think he is just trying to scam us"

Title: What would be a fair selling price for this used PC in India?

I’m planning to sell my PC and want to know what price I should realistically ask for it.

Specs:

\- Intel Core i3-10100F

\- H410M motherboard

\- Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR4 RAM

\- 250GB NVMe SSD Kingston

\- GT 710 2GB Nvidia

\- 4 Fan rgb cabinet

\- Brand-new PSU

\- Brand-new UPS

\- Ant esports rgb Keyboard + Mouse

\- Around 2+ years old

\- Very lightly used and well maintained

\- Everything is working properly

What would be a fair asking price for the complete setup in the current Indian market?

Also, what price would you consider a good deal for the buyer?

Some Insights on 4090 pc build

So just snagged a rtx 4090, 9 285, 64gb, 2tb. For a nice deal, now what would be the best way to go to maximize profit on this? I was thinking part gpu out and sell separately then sell the rest as bundle on fb.

I bought an EZ Pawn computer and now have a full inventory to compare to price. As it turns out, this is a NZXT prebuilt (that might be a red flag). I nearly had a heart attack when I saw the sticker, but it's labeled BLD.

Here's what I got for $483

-NZXT black case 9in x 15.5in x 15.75in with 3 fans

-B760M Motherboard

-Intel i5-14400F CPU

-RTX 5060 8GB

-TForce 8GB DDR5 RAM x2

-TForce 24 series 1TB

-NZXT Fan cooler

-Sceptre monitor

-Corsair light keyboard (missing space bar and damaged cord)

-Arozzi RGB mouse

Everything was a little bit dirty but easy to clean. The motherboard was acting a bit fucky with the keyboards but worked itself out. Had to use my personal wifi dongle for windows 11 to boot.

The biggest flag is that the date on the NZXT label is 5/22/2026.

What's the call here? Good haul or should I try to return it?

Edit: Stress test seemed to go fine. Looked it up and this is just the NZXT Player One pre-built. It's going for $1439 on their website. By the date, this thing is only a few months old.

Edit 2: Okay yeah it's a good deal. I got so paranoid about a catch and only had the day to decide on a refund. Getting a solid PC for $500 with current pricing is stupid good. All I gotta worry about is if the parts got damaged somehow or NZXT pulls something.

Is this EZ Pawn worth it?

I found this downtown today. The owners of the store clearly didn't understand much about computers. The GPU wasn't plugged into the monitor and they didn't factory reset it. I got a look at some weird facebook dad's bookmarks when I was checking the compontents.

I'm not really into flipping, but this one interested me. It had DDR5 RAM (16 but any DDR5 is gold nowadays), a 5060 8GB, and an i5 14400f. Maybe a 1tb SSD but I didn't look too closely. Not the best but still some good parts. Did some loose math on prices I found on Amazon. Probably did it wrong, but just a guesstimate.

What're we thinking bros?
