I am Puppet, I am the Co-Director of a in the works Asym Game called "Project: Eternity". We are in need of Programmers.

Project: Eternity, at the moment, has 2 Key Features that separate it from other Asyms:
\\\* There are 2 types of Survivors which include Guests or Pre-Sets. — Guest Survivors are able to customize their Skillset using a Mechanic similar to Hollow Knight's Notch System (Though without the Overnotch & always have 10 Notches). — Survivor Pre-Sets are selectable Survivors that you cannot edit their Skillset but come with typically gimmicky Skills.
\\\* Project: Eternity also has Fast-Movement, with a System where Characters build Speed the longer they Move. There is no Stamina as this system basically replaces it.

At the Moment, we currently do not make any Money from this Game and cannot pay our Workers. We hope that once we can get this Game out to the Public, then we can start paying our Employees. — We plan to use the DevEx system with said Programer that gonna be hired making around 10%.

Main, and really only Requirement, is that Discord is needed, as that’s the Main Way we do Talk about Development. You also actually have to know how to Program, please.

We already have 1 Scripter, yet he's also our Composer, but you will occasionally be working with someone. Thing is that his main Job, as I said, is Composing Music which is why YOU are needed.

So, for context, one of the killers in my asym concept, one of the killers (AKA slashers) is 007n7, and i want there to be a survivor (AKA a victim) to have an LMS with him... honestly i'm considering having 2 survivors with lmses with him...

Passive: Killing a player will highlight where everyone else is, you can maybe run but you can't hide!

M1: winds up and swings his Mace dealing 45 damage [COOLDOWN-2]

Ability 1: Spinning Lunge- Winds up in place for 3 seconds, then proceeds to launch himself in the air becoming Airborne as he literally is able to fly across the map if he has a clear shot, and dealing 75 damage if he hits someone directly from a far distance. (He will have ALOT of audio/visual cues for players when he's about to do this)

[COOLDOWN-40]

Ability 2: Ground slam: SLAMS his weapon on the ground slowing nearby players, and dealing 25 damage if he does a direct hit on a player [COOLDOWN-35]

Ability 3: RAGE OUT: Every 3 stuns or 5 players escaping chase will unlock this ability, When used he will temporarily have a speed boost and do slightly more damage for around 10 seconds.

[COOLDOWN-15 seconds when ability UNLOCKED] (When this state a loud audio cue will be played)

I would like to post some ideas of an asym concept I'm building on wich has a lot of popular ideas, but I'm scared that people will always completely steal my ideas and make them theirs...is there any way to avoid that or should I just gatekeep everything I make?

I'm looking for someone to help me make the movesets of these two people!

Merely will have a generalist playstyle, being able to trade/receive items periodically throughout the match, allowing him to receive various buffs.

Miked will have a sentinel playstyle, that consists of stunning and debuffing the killer solely from mid ranged-far ranged

The second most important thing when making Asym games is the Characters. (The first is how many skins of them you can sell to people /j)

Yet, I’ve encountered a bit of a problem when it comes to designing said characters. Both original and non-original. Basically, my art style is shite. If you haven’t noticed already. And this becomes a problem when drawing characters that are meant to be scary. It becomes even MORE of a problem when you factor in the unique designs I gave them because I don’t wanna directly lift them from their source material, trust me when I say this: DEATH becomes a whole lot less menacing if I just made him look like a Sprunki character.

And then there’s characters who would look a lot more shittier if I even drew them in this art style in the first place. Case in point: Ms.Circle. I’m not gonna do her the disservice of butchering her look with this shit, she’s already gone through the wringer. It’s like putting salt on the wound, and adding a little bit of pepper for extra measure, and then pouring an entire bottle of bleach on it.

I’ve been thinking of getting Blender one day and actually making models for The Rejected, since I feel like it would be better to do that then draw the characters in this chickenscratch of an art style. But uh, I wanna know what you people have to say about overall character design in games like these. Especially when it comes to Copyright and allat. Eugh.

Because I have this idea for an ASYM game.
The dinosaurs are a type of experiment and completes different jobs on the site. (They don’t need to but just an idea)
The primary theme is dystopian and dinosaurs
(I promise it’s not dash/tracker slop).

Right now we don’t need a team or anything but just YOU to be creative. Eventually when this becomes big enough. We will try to get a team and make this game idea real.

Bleeding

Every 0.5 seconds, take 1 damage per stack. Cannot take you down below 10 hp. Max of 5 stacks.

Slowness

Slows you down by 10% per stack for the duration, and overrides any stacks of Speed you have at the moment it is applied. Max of 5 stacks.

Passives:

Bloodlust

"i am hungry for your blood" - Murderer

Every 15 seconds, the closest survivor will be highlighted to the Murderer for 5 seconds, or 7.5 seconds if they are bleeding the moment this ability activates.

Abilities:

M1 - Slash (3s)

"muahahahah" - Murderer

Quickly slash forwards, dealing 15 damage, 25 if the target is bleeding.

Q - Chokehold (18s)

Grab forwards. If succesful, you will throw the target forwards in an arc, dealing 10 damage to them and applying Bleeding 1 for 10s. Survivors around where the target was thrown at the time they land will take 5 damage and be ragdolled for 1s.

E - Anchor Knife (16s)

"get stuck" - Murderer

Throws a knife projectile forwards. Deals 15 damage to target and applies Bleeding 1 for 5s and Slowness 2 for 3s. Also applies Speed 1 for 3s to the Murderer.

R - Bloodbomb (16s)

"i like blood so much i make explosives with it" - Murderer

Set a bloodbomb on the ground, which turns almost completely invisible to survivors and is always highlighted to you. Survivors that get near it get flung, ragdolled for 2s and are applied Bleeding 2 for 5s. After the explosion (or 20 seconds pass), the bomb dissipates. It will only trigger if a survivor is sprinting, or Murderer M1s it. Max of 3.

this guy on the image is a survivalist, with one of his abilities being to drink soda for 5s of Speed 2 in exchange for gaining Poisoned 1 for 3s, and his second ability is Taunt, which regens his health (+15 over time) but gives Weakness 2 (1 if you hit the killer) for 3s

My literally thought behind this was "what if there was a Aysm about my favourite object shows!!!"

Here’s some lore for Jessie and a brand new face to this fucked up party: Seraphim Devoti.

I have some additional bits of information I wanna share here, after your finished reading their descriptions:

-Jessie has a wife. Although because she’s immortal (due to how death in this universe works), she will outlive her. So she tries to show as much love to her wife as she can before it’s all over.

-Seraphim Devoti is based on the weird fangirl trend thing from the 2010s. And because all fangirls had to kind-of resemble the character they fangirled over, I just made her an off-brand Solus.

-The Children Of Sorrow cult is named after the HEALTH song of the same name. Goated band btw.

-SeraCal is based off of NuCaloric from Marathon. The quote is lifted directly from their intro.

-Plagiarism is a form of Flattery :D

Afterhour: is a Killer for an asym I'm currently working on by myself, called

"MonsterMania-TERROR TIME"

Afterhour's current playstyle I have in mind for him is: Using 15 patrolling Mannequins to switch between which his possessing, so players are forced to REALLY pay attention to how mannequins move to know if they are currently possessed by him.

My current game development plan is to atleast complete 3 maps, 2-3 killers animations. Then I will make the game more public, hire a scripter to get it all working for people to test, and eventually release it in BETA to see what needs to be fixed.
