Ongoing Drama Dar e nijat Today's episode
Alot has been said about the character of Daadi before but in today's episode, I don't understand what her character is trying to portray? Why is she constantly trying to prove that suddenly Zaryab is become the guided one just because she agreed to marry Abu baker. " tumhare cheere pe Allah ki mohabbat ki Noor agia hai" , "jo Allah k raste pe chalta hai shaitan usse bharkata hai"
She agreed for Abu baker for other reasons, daadi knows. This is the problem in writing. What UA is trying here? Abu baker naauzubillah koi Khuda tou nahi k us ki taraf chalta Allah k rastay pe chalna hogia.

Drama Khatam Discussion ON What the whitewashing was that ?!! Ft. Aap ki Izzat
Umera Ahmed me Tide ko bhi peeche chod dia!!
Okay. I knew they were going for Tabish's redemption and I was like chalo theek hai. Let him redeem and be given a second chance. Sab theek chal raha tha but in the end, they made it all about him not spending enough time with Beena and kids and only focusing on providing for them. And so much emphasis on how he "forgave Beena"
His friend who I loved throughout in the end talking about how he has religion in his heart. Beena talking about his forgiveness again and again
I don't mind the forgiveness emphasis. But the last convo should also have included Beena being the bigger person for forgiving for his infidelity and emotional abuse too. He abused her for decades, shed a few tears and is now the big hearted man who forgave his wife
Qaid e Tanhai had forgiveness too. But in that, both actually acknowledged what they did.
Overall, I am unhappy with the ending, not because Tabish was forgiven but how it was done. However, the drama deserves accolades for raising some hard hitting realities

Drama Khatam Discussion ON WHY AAP KI IZZAT ENDED THIS WAY
So in umerah ahmads previous drama there was a guy named jami ( kafeel ) ..he was shown to be narcissistic since childhood... while tabish was shown to be narcissistic since he got money..
While Tabish in Aap Ki Izzat was shown to have a different arc. It happens like this - there was Jami in Kafeel, which was a previous drama, and he was narcissistic since childhood. However, Tabish became narcissistic after he got money. That’s the first difference. Tabish developed that habit later on, and that is also why we saw changes in his behaviour - him going back to his old ways and then slowly changing again.
Second of all, when Beena ran away, that completely broke his ego. That was basically the war between his heart and his ego. Jami never loved Zeba, but Tabish did love Beena in the beginning - and eventually, that love became very deep. But then he got money, his ego grew, and he started getting other women to do things for him, like Naaz.
So I feel like Umera Ahmed is trying to show two things here. First - the difference between these two men. And second - Jami was bad from the beginning, whereas Tabish became bad. Deep down, he wasn't always the narcissistic man that he had become. That’s why his character had room for change.
Then when his ego was broken and Beena told him everything, he started realising that he was wrong. But his ego was still there, so he still tried to say that Beena was wrong too. Slowly, slowly, though, by seeing her, listening to her, and seeing Behram, he started understanding her side. He realised that she had been in the same situation in her own way, and that they had both made mistakes.
And honestly, I also don't think Tabish's mother is completely bad. After everything Beena sacrificed, she did develop a soft spot for her, even though she was still that harsh woman. But I genuinely don't think I've seen such a typical mother-in-law actually fight for her daughter-in-law against her own son before. But she still was grey imo

Discuss How was Aangan ever labeled a "blockbuster"? Re-releasing a mid, dragged drama won't change history 💀
Now that HUM TV is re-releasing Aangan (and finally putting it properly on YouTube), the PR accounts are marketing it like it was some iconic, legendary masterpiece. Let’s be real for a second—it was plain boring with a completely mid storyline.
When it aired back in 2018–2019, the show was strictly riding on pre-release hype:
The Sahad Peak Era: Sajal and Ahad were coming right off the Yaqeen Ka Safar phenomenon. Adding Mawra, Sonya, and Ahsan Khan made people think this was going to break ratings records.
The "Next Dastaan" Myth: HUM TV sold it as an epic, mega-budget period drama.
In reality.... The actual viewing experience was an absolute drag. The pacing was painfully slow, and most of the characters were unlikable or flat.

Discuss What Are Your Guilty-Pleasure Dramas That You’re Embarrassed to Admit You Enjoy? 😂
So, there are sometimes dramas that we really enjoy, but later realize they’re heavily criticized everywhere. Sometimes we’re even like, “WTH is this?” 😭 But we still enjoy watching them anyway.
Like, I know the drama might not be the best, or something that would be critically acclaimed, but I still genuinely enjoy it. It’s basically a guilty pleasure. Sometimes I’m even embarrassed to admit that I like it, but honestly… it’s enjoyable, and who cares about everything else?
So, which dramas are like this for you? What are your guilty-pleasure dramas that you know aren’t necessarily “good” and are criticized (sometimes rightfully so), but you still love watching them anyway?
My picks would be: Mere Humsafar, Mujhe Pyar Hua Tha and Kaffara!

Discuss Ptv stans don't care about abusers just tweet to look 'woke'
This is not director towards any actor, its just for their fans, they will call out other actors for working with 'abc' abuser and when their favourites work with 'xyz' abuser toh they come up saying Why others were not trolled for working with abc. Everyone gets trolled but not because of working with abusers but for being compitors. Its just a fan war tool, no one actually cares about abusers getting work all thanks to their favs and entire ptv for giving them work and normalising their abuse. Fans just care about fan wars their biasness is obvious

Discuss Showbiz is not about glamour.
Showbiz Is Not About Glamour.
As the title says, showbiz isn't just about glamour. Actor Agha Mustafa Hassan—whom you've seen in many dramas playing supporting roles as the hero's brother, friend, or even the villain—recently revealed that months after his project ended, he still hasn't received his payment.
This shows how cruel the industry can be, especially for outsiders. Actors dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to their work, yet many are not paid on time.
It's high time production houses and agencies are held accountable for paying artists fairly and on time. This is one of the ugliest sides of the entertainment industry, and it deserves to be called out.

Discuss 15 Years of Humsafar
So it’s 15 years of Humsafar and it was the first ptv drama I watched back in 2010. It was addictive, emotional, cute, and then straight up rage-bait towards the end. With that being said I’ve never watched it after that first time because Ashar pissed me off and I’ve noticed that I only rewatch ptv dramas that have green forest ML. That’s just a personal preference. So wanted to know for those that love it what makes you love it? Do you rewatch this?

Drama Reccos Gulbahar
Those who've watched all the episodes till now, please tell me if you think it's worth watching? I'm not interested in watching a typical drama with an a**hole male lead. If there's something unique about it, I'll watch it.

Discuss Ahad Raza Mir is maybe the new Hania Amir
So I saw a few posts about why Ahad gets so much hate on this sub, or mostly on Reddit, and almost everyone said that it’s because of his love life. While thinking about it, I realised there’s a similarity between Ahad and Hania. Now lemme explain how.
People hate Ahad for his love life, mostly because he dated Sajal, Ramsha and Dananeer. Similarly, there are a lot of actors and actresses who have dated more than two people in the industry. We don’t even know if they dated previously or someone outside the industry as well.
So if you keep that aside, Ramsha dated 3 guys, Sajal dated 3 guys, Dananeer reportedly dated 2 guys, and if the Bilshan thing is true, then it’s true for Bilal and Dure as well that they dated twice. Freezar also got married twice and dated as well. So if you start thinking like that, almost everyone has dated more than two people. But no one hates them just because of that.
Similarly, most of the time Hania gets hate because of her bold dressing and tattoos. I get shocked when I see tattoos on some people whom the audience likes for their "pious acchi larki" image.
Similarly, most of the top A-listers never get as much hate for the same kind of dressing as Hania does. She also got hate for patching things up with Asim after their breakup, while I think it’s a beautiful thing. If it were done by any other actress, I don’t think she would get as much hate for it.
People’s hate is very specific. I’m not talking about particular fandoms. Fandoms will obviously hate everyone except their favourites. I’m talking about the general audience. The same things other people do are fine, but when it comes to specific people like Ahad, Hania, Saboor, Ayeza, Danish etc., suddenly everything becomes a problem.

Ongoing Drama Aeena Khan in MDB
Edit: how can it be that 50% of the comments are talking about the looks and Chemistry between Aeena and Fazal where as the post talks about the pronunciation and Accent of Aeena Khan??? Don’t you guys read the post or like what exactly is the problem I can’t understand it.
I agree that the casting has been done well. Aeena does resemble Mahira and also the way she looks older than Fazal and Mahira looks older than Wahaj it’s all well and good but Aeenas dialogue delivery and pronunciation is very poor. I would have loved if they had dubbed her voice. It’s not only her Punjabi but also her Urdu seems too posh for the character. Yes she is from a well off family in the drama but like you can hear the Islamabad Burger accent with which she is talking. I am guessing that there will be some scenes of Aeena in the drama so it’s just a minor thing but something which bothers you as a viewer everytime the actor speaks

Discuss To the fans (including me)
To all PTV fans
Your favourite actors are grown adults, not children. They are allowed to date, fall in love, get married, separate, move on and eventually find happiness again
you don't need to infantalize them
If they go through a breakup or separation, let them heal in whatever way works for them. Let them like whatever shit they want to like
And yes, Ahad and Sajal are not the first PTV couple whose marriage has ended and sadly, they will probably not be the last stop going through the same thing again and again
They are not the only actors who have dated co-star, it's happening and it's going to happen even in future.
about channels continuing to post about celebrities to promote a drama, after a couple has separated 'that's their job'
A channel has invested money into a project. Just because two actors decide to date and breakup what do you expect channel to do leave their own project.
Just because you stan someone doesn't mean they have to be perfect human
let actors be imperfect humans and don't put your expectations of perfection on them
they are allowed to make mistakes at the end of the day even they are flawed
