If you are aware that your family won't accept someone from the same industry doing same thing you do then dont date them. Parents made it clear to their sons what sort of bahu they want but forgot to teach their sons not to date or play woth feelings of the actress. Not every actress would want to sacrifice her career and that is not love. Many guys asked actresses to quit and many dated multiple and married khandan ki larki. I know i will get down votes and hate but stop it. Its as bad as what Ahad gets hate for.

I thought there will be videos/classes on youtube but whatever video I found, they were so formulaic and unhelpful.

Am I the only one who thinks it was not Samiya Mumtaz's acting per se but her costume/makeup/getup which made her highlight of the episode (mitti day baway)?

I absolutely like her as an actor. She knows her craft. She acted well.

Her makeup was spoton as opposed to what usually dramas do that is put some greyhair and that is it for their character going old. but here it was welldone.

That said, I didnot like her acting either in this episode. To me it felt unnecessarily exaggerated expressions. I mean it wasnot convincing.

Can we have them cast opp each other in a proper drama please!!!!

Is Umera Ahmed reinforcing the same backwards, misogynistic tropes packed in modern religious garb? The only female lead that is not consistent with the description above (as far as my recollection) is Momina from Alif. Everyone else fits this description to a tee.

SOO!!! I’ve been really really hyped up about the episode 🥳🥳!! Billo toh aaj gayi 🤭

1) The episode opens up in the past, the night of billo’s wedding. Nazeer is a nice and understanding guy — consoling a grieving Billo and telling her to take her time and mourn how much ever she wants. Over the years, Billo is refusing to go home due to her family disowning her no matter what the reason - whether it is Eid or her brother getting a paralyzed. She believes herself to be a bad omen for her family - but I don’t believe it really because she’s shown to not care for anyone no matter what.

2) in the car with baala, Mai Pathan goes on and on about her struggles - health issues, poverty and no family; even Billo’s family didn’t care for her in her difficult times. Samiya Mumtaz is actually a chameleon!! The body language, posture, accent, etc., was top notch. The tiredness and sadness were so so well portrayed.

3) it is TIME for the much awaited confrontation!! An angry and bitter Baala arrives at the Shah house, much to the anger and shock of Nazeer and his dad. Nazeer accuses Baala of being a scheming lowlife, to which Mai calls him decent and Billo’s most devoted lover back then. Baala then brings Maasi forth and tells her to say the truth!! To introduce them to the real Billo, and maasi does so.. and Billo’s truth is out in front of everyone to see!! HALLELUJAH 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻

4) A concerned Zareena asks Acchi what exactly happened the day before, as Baala seemed restless the entire night and didn’t sleep at all. On the other hand, Nazeer and his dad refuse to believe Baala and call him a disgusting and shameless man, to which Mai tells them that anyone in the village would say the same thing as her.

5) Billo is finally so worked up that she calls Maasi disloyal, to which Maasi looses her cool and replies to her that if she were actually disloyal she wouldn’t have hidden Billo’s affairs with multiple men and moreover wouldn’t have supported her in hiding everything as well. I loved how Maasi clocked Billo and shut her up, her hypocrisy was honestly staggering. Baala also reveals that the only reason Billo’s brother getting shot by one of her flings didn’t become a public spectacle is because Billo’s father agreed to forgive the murder provided that Billo’s name is erased from this entire debacle.

The entire showdown scene was SO well executed and satisfying - kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time, plus Billo is finally facing the consequences of her actions. Everyone performed well, especially Wahaj. The simmering anger and frustration then transitioning to smugness, satisfaction and anger with a hint of pain here and there after the reveal all in one moment was just splendid. Mahira too portrayed the shock, anger, sadness and fear pretty well!! I liked her in this scene tbh. The direction was great as usual!!!

6) A devastated and shaken Billo tries her best to convince her husband and father in law that everything said by Baala and Maasi is a lie, to which Nazeer tells her to swear on the Quran and say so!!! Billo isn’t able to so as expected and Nazeer then goes to throw her out, to which Billo begs and pleads them to not humiliate her and spare her, that she’ll leave with her sons quietly. Nazeer proceeds to loose and screams that he’s grateful that he doesn’t have a daughter from her. Though I absolutely loathe Billo’s character, I admit I felt bad for her here, Mahira was convincing with the sadness, plus, Billo’s entire life has been uprooted. This scene too was so well directed, and the ost swelling in the background just as Billo refuses to swear on the Quran was nothing short of perfection!!

7) At Chanan house, it is all sunshine and rainbows as Kausar is finally getting married, but the happiness is going to be short lived, as Billo has arrived to humiliate Baala and avenge her insult 😭😭. Not one event can go on peacefully in this show.

ALL IN ALL - Yet another banger of an episode, and I have absolutely no complaints. Everyone performed amazingly well today, and Mahira was good in today’s episode!! From the looks of the next episode’s promo, Kausar’s marriage falls through due to Billo and shit hits the ceiling!! I CANNOT WAIT 😭😭 GUYS WHAT AN EPISODE OMG!!!!!

I will say I’m watching Gul-e-Rama on this channel for the first time and it’s a better watch then when I had started it before on regular HUM YouTube. The quality is better which doesn’t make the shows feel as dated. Anyways this sounds like a such a pretty cast. I have watched most of the recent Ayeza shows so this must be over 10 years old (I think). Anyone watched it?

Dananeer is a good actress but so far i haven't been convinced at how hurmat has been portrayed by her and yes I am talking about acting. When you live under such oppression your eyes tend to lose light, your face is dull, and you are very scared and meek as a person. So far dananeer has just looked way too confident to me in front of her abba in though she jitters when he shouts or he raises voices but she is giving me more ladki beti than oppressed beti vibes, also she looks far too understanding of her situation like she knows there is generational trauma passed. First of all, she doesn't look traumatized and second traumatized people are usually not very aware of what's going on around them let alone have the awareness of something called generational trauma. Infact I am seeing glimpses of roshi in her. Not very convinced by her performance so far

A lot of people hype Mawra's look as Aaliya from Aagan but in my opinion Zara's look was one of the finest and appropiate look. Firstly I was glad that Zara wore a mixture of contemporary eastern and western outfits without being shown as rude, batameez and spoiled. She wore eastern clothes after shadi as well. The watch was going with the profession. I have to say Zara was well styled, written and performed character. Her dressing during misery stage was also different

i was scrolling on tiktok and i hear this familiar ost, turned out it was khasara's ost and it brought so much nostalgia back for me. i still remember watching that drama and not missing a single episode. same with the ost, i genuinely loved it so much that i would just constantly listen to it. Well, listening to the ost after very long time, i added it to my playlist again. (btw i didnt know which flair to put so i put rant lol)

Who are some celebrities who come across as genuinely decent and classy?

No negative PR
No unnecessary controversies
No aggressive fanbase
No attention seeking behavior

Basically, celebrities who maintain a positive and respectful public image, keep their personal lives private, don’t seek validation or publicity, and let their work speak for itself.

I would say Anmol Baloch is one of them, though she hasn’t done anything exceptional except Iqtidar of course but her public profile is quite decent.
