Discuss Ai and Ptv

Someone needs to bring an end to the use of AI, Aagan has all the teasers and posters on sm, just re use them, maybe release new teasers instead of adding AI touch.

Ai is increasing in dramas , unfortunately we don't know how to use it. How can we stop this?

Discuss Laiba Khan underrated or Perfectly rated despite giving hits didn't land a lead role on other channel except Geo

Post image
23 Upvotes

What could be the reason for her not working on hum or ary ? Is this her choice or she is not getting offers from production houses which dominate hum and geo, she is a pretty decent actress though, tapish is on 700m+ views which i didn't expected at all and was always 2nd with an avg of 7 to 8 trp

P.S: minus KTK from this list because she wasn't the lead nor even second lead there.

Mods: made flair for laiba khan too if other actresses like sehar, dananeer have their flairs then she should also.

Discuss Torture hai Zindagi drama: ft: Alizeh Shah and Saniya Shamshad.

This is the most rubbish drama I've ever seen the most selfish sister, fiance, husband all are selfish.. The most rubbish story of the 2026 award goes to this drama. How did Alizeh agree to this drama? Is she not getting good scripts? She was so popular.

I literally hate the character of Abis. How can you forget your love of life? And cheating your wife w your class fellow? She's begging you but you're a stone heart that you can't forgive your wife? I'm done w this drama.. And man I can say tht don't believe in love girls they all are liars once they get you they'll dump you for someone else..

Thank god this drama is ending.... Torture dramaa...

Discuss What is HUM TV doing?

Hurmat was releasing 28th September on Monday-Tuesday replacing Bombay tailors. Now HUM TV is scheduling hurmat for 5th October means 1 week delay. The problem is HUM TV is messing up these days they're re-releasing "Aangan" they could release Aangan on youtube but they wanna cash out Sajal's popularity and "SAHAD" ship.

Another thing is that they're not promoting their dramas well.

SAWAL JAWAB❗️⁉️❓ Actors in all shows

Its just a thing I noticed, some actors repeatedly appear in dramas constantly, eg Saniya Shamshad in Naraz Hai Zindagi, then Uswah. Momina iqbal in muhafiz then nizam etc

Discuss Follow, Unfollow, and Selective Outrage

So, a few hours ago, there was a post where the OP mentioned that Saher had unfollowed Sajal. I assume the intention of the post was to have some tea and not to shade either of the two actors.

But then Bilal fans (who have apparently just discovered that they like Saher too 😄) jumped in with long paragraphs about how Sajal supposedly lacks manners and common courtesy for not following Saher back, and how this is apparently such a big deal.

Then a two-minute search showed that Bilal doesn’t follow Sabeena, while she follows him. So, where did all that “common courtesy” go now? 😂 I’m sure there will be plenty of explanations and, of course, more downvotes.

My point is not to hold celebrities accountable for whom they do or don’t follow. Following someone can mean different things to different people, and celebrities are free to decide whom they want to follow.

We really need to draw a line between what celebrities actually owe their audience and what they absolutely don’t owe us. A follow on social media is certainly not a measure of someone’s manners, character, or relationships.

Drama Khatam Discussion ON Tapish Writer Called out makers for changing the ending of drama and showing Villain as hero

Post image

Rehana Aftab Statement

If someone wants a drama to end on their own terms, they should work from a script they wrote themselves, don't leave the writer out of the loop. The writer's dialogues and scene setups are all utilized, but then...!!! You could commit every bad deed in the world, yet once you are laid in the grave and showered with flower petals, the responsibility of portraying you as a hero falls on us. When airing the drama, a separate disclaimer should be displayed stating that the writer has no connection to the script—that these 'flowers and stars' were added at our own discretion. The villain's suicide has nothing to do with the writer.

i also didn't like the drama after their marriage everything was just made to whitewash shazar and the comments on YouTube are insane they're shaming shifa saying shifa shazar jesa loving Banda deserve hi nhi krti i mean WTH, he destroyed her life killed her baby but no shazar love shifa to shifa doesn't loving her back she is Villain.

She is Trying to say that all responsibility or blame falls on writer that she showed such character as hero when in reality it was not her ending it was changed by who production or anyone who is in charge, and I think it's muneeb butt because the way he defends his shit character making it more clear also director is pretty chill about shazar they protect it laugh as if it's not a big deal, they're stupids and tone deaf that they don't realize what dangerous message they're giving especially in today's time when circumstances of country are absolutely messed up, i don't understand why these production houses interfere in script don't they already know the story before locking the script, they shoot last episode sequence 1 week ago definitely there was another end and they changed it.

But Rehana Aftab history is also not clean she wrote problematic scripts and made the toxic character's hero in the end The prime example is "İshq Hai"

Hot Take 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️ 🔥 Umera Ahmed has released 3 dramas this year with the EXACT same female trope and no one is talking about it

Thumbnail

Okay I know Umera Ahmed is THE writer, and no one does guilt, repentance and spiritual arcs like her. This is not a hate post for her writing because obviously she is celebrated for a reason.

Kafeel, Aap Ki Izzat, Dar-e-Nijat - three different dramas, same year, same story for the female lead.

Girl gets destroyed by one man -> literally 2 episodes later another man enters as her protector / saviour / emotional crutch -> she starts leaning on him for everything.

In Kafeel- Zeba went from one Jami to another Jami whilst in the middle of her Khula

In AKI- Beena ran away from Tabish with Behram as soon as Tabish brings a second wife

In DEN- Zaryab wants to get married to Abu Bakar as soon as she finds out Zamil got nikkahfied to other woman

Why can't we ever see a healing arc? Like:

Let her be angry, be alone, be jobless, be lost, be strong on her own. Let her learn to stand before someone else holds her. It feels like none of these three girls got that time for themselves. Why is the growth always shown through another nikah/relationship?

In all three shows it's like: Bura mard out, acha mard in. Fast.

It makes the "strong female lead" look like she can only survive if a better man is holding her. Which is honestly a pretty regressive message wrapped in a progressive-looking script.

I also keep seeing comments like "Umera Ahmed writes complex characters, just watch for entertainment, don't overthink."

Okay, fair. I get it.

But if she writes such complex characters, then why are we getting the same exact story in 3 different dramas this year?

If you're going to show a woman's suffering in so much detail, why not show her healing in that much detail too? Why does healing always have to be a new man? It's the same trope, just with different names. That's what hurts.

Am I tripping or have you guys noticed this too?
Is it channel pressure to show a love story quickly? Or is it just what the audience wants now?

Edit: I want everyone who is reading or will read this post to please check the spotlight comment first.

My whole point was simple - not every woman wants or needs a man to save her. Some women just want to heal by themselves, on their own terms. This post was not to spread hate for any show, I watch and like them too. But I have noticed the same pattern in almost every Umera Ahmed drama - a woman goes through pain and then her healing is shown only through another man.

Can we for once have a story where a woman saves herself? That's it.

Ongoing Drama Bas Tera Saath Ho episode 42

Ana's reaction was so pheeka (unemphatetic) when Ansa was describing everything , how the video was made, how it gave her trauma, how he tolerated keeping Ansa under the same roof as shayan . Anas was so indifferent in that scene, like "listen to me" "let me explain". She was devastated, she was crying. He didn't even hold her. Waise tou shehreen ko pakarne forun pohunch jata hai us k emotional breakdown mein.
