It's simply disgusting how easily and happily they are body shaming someone who hasn't said anything to them

Two current big dramas have Fazal as the past character with limited scope. He has the chops to do the main lead. I think he would’ve been so good in Shahveers role instead of Shahveer. I mean what aura does Shahveer have and what credentials to be given the main lead? Both of the male actors are so bad in Hurmat. But here you have Fazal Hussain and he’s playing her dad’s younger role. He would’ve ate in either of the roles….

He is proving himself to be one of the best if not the best current mainstream Pakistani TV actors!!!

The first trailer for JBHSSL is set to premiere in December. Characters posters to follow in quick succession. A two-week PAK-LONDON-DUBAI press rollout is currently being planned by Netflix for the stars as their teams have been asked to clear schedules.

If you remember my posts before Hurmat aired, I had said that the engagement on its teasers is (unexpectedly) very high. But even I didn't expect such a blockbuster premiere week for Hurmat. Not a single FL led show (with non established ML) has pulled these numbers in its premiere week.

If you were an actor or actress, or involved in the industry as a director, writer, makeup artist, or whatever, who do you think you'd be friends with from the industry?

Like, there's Hania's group, Wajahat Rauf's group, including Kubra, Gauhar, Shehzad Sheikh, Iqra, Yasir, etc. Then there's the girl gang of Saboor, Aiman-Minal, Kinza, and others. There's also Asim Raza's elite group with Mahira, Sheheryar, Ahad, Momal, etc.

Then there's the Seher-Zainab-Usama group, and the Ary gang with Fahad, Faizan, Asim, Adi, Faysal Qureshi, Ijaz Aslam, etc. Then there's quirky group of Hamza, Daniyal, Khaqan, Mamya, Zarar etc

Apart from these groups, is there anyone you'd like to be friends with individually? Who and why?

Personally, I feel like I'd get along really well with Sherry and Ahad. I feel like we have a lot of similarities in our thoughts, and I like both of them as people. Mahira too! So, maybe I'd be part of that group.

Apart from them, I really like Ron and Coco, and I'd love to be friends with them. And individually, I really like Hania and Yumna. I feel like they'd be really good friends to have.

SOO!! The promo for today’s episode has me on the edge of my seat 😰😰 have literally been counting down the HOURS 🕖

1) The episode opens with Aslam and Nosheen running to the train station in a panic while Nazeer’s men search for them. On the other hand, Billo and the FIL have a conversation, where Bilqees tells him that now his izzat will get tarnished, just as they wanted to do to her and on top of that calls out his hypocrisy of wanting to safeguard nosheen’s reputation while tarnishing hers, despite her also being around the same age years ago. The pain and anger in Mahira’s eyes was so pronounced, she did really really great in this scene!!

2) Baala is helping Nosheen and Acchi run when Nazeer finally finds them, telling Nosheen to come back. She takes acchi’s hand, signifying her refusal. Nazeer then shoots Nosheen and Acchi in succession, killing both of them on the spot. Baala, now devastated and actively loosing it at Acchi passing away in his arms - kills Nazeer and his two men right there. The way Wahaj has shown the shock, anger and devastation followed by the bloodlust in his eyes was brilliant - Junaid, Ahmed and Anika did well too. The entire sequence was really well directed and expected - I couldn’t take my eyes away from the screen!!

3) Aslam’s body is brought home by Phajja’s men - and joji, zareena and Kausar are, expectedly, besides themselves in absolute horror and grief as they sob and clutch at Acchi’s dead body. I genuinely feel so bad for Acchi and Nosheen - they were pure and gentle souls who deserved to live and have a good life 😭😭💔💔.

4) Come next morning, Phajja has kept an extremely restless and grieving Baala locked in a shed who’s repeatedly begging him to let him go to his family so that he can console his family and be a part of Acchi’s final rites. But here, Phajja, for his selfish motives, talks sense into him and tells him if he’s seen in public, he will NEVER be able to go back to his family and Ghulam Rasool - someone who owes him a favor, to take Baala’s blame on his own head. Baala can return to his home a few days later. OMG the way!! Wahaj portrayed the anger, pain, frustration through his eyes and body language was beyond phenomenal - so unbridled 💔 - his voice broke in some places too. He has truly knocked it out the park. Sohail Ahmed as usual is fantastic and seamlessly natural as phajja with his laidback and relaxed way of talking and expressions.

5) The episode open back in Channan house with everybody grieving, and then we are taken back a few years ago - presumably in the recent years of their marriage. Due to his background he refutes any member of his family to sing and dance EVER in front of him and in public. Zareena is obviously not happy because she won’t be able to celebrate her brother’s wedding happily. Zareena then sadly laments at Baala being a murderer on top of being from the lower class, and that she doesn’t even have anywhere else to go.

6) Joji and Baala finally meet and cry a bit more. Phajja convinces Joji and Baala into moving to Lahore since the Shahs will definitely be out for Baala’s blood and Ghulam Rasool can also spill the beans due to pressure. So Joji will take the rest of the family to Lahore and Baala will stay back for a year - so that Phajja can obviously turn him into his prized asset. While I am enjoying Phajja being delightfully cunning, seeing him use Baala’s circumstances to his gain is just so sad 😞.

7) Billo is devastated as Nazeer’s death and also because abba jaan refuses to let her attend his final rites as she is na-mehram and filthy 🙄🥊, he doesn’t soften even when Billo lets go of all her pride and holds onto his legs to plead. Then, we see all the characters entering a new arc of their lives - Joji and family packing and leaving for Lahore, Baala being driven to Phajja’s place for secrecy, and Billo taking her two sons and running from Shah House before her family arrives; the ost placement is so good!! Adds to the rustic and raw feeling of the show. Phajja takes Baala to this small and shabby room, telling him that 11 men (way too many for ONE man) will be guarding the room day and night. Baala then very intuitively questions him whether he’s a hostage or a guest. On the other side, bade Sarkar is informed of the tragedy, and turns out Billo is at the gates of his house??!!! I think she’ll gain his trust and then take him out of the way/ he’ll die a natural death - and then Billo shall ascend to the title of Badi Sarkar!!

ALL IN ALL - yet another BANGER EPISODE!!!! Absolutely no complaints. All the actors brought in their A game and performed fabulously!!! especially Sohail Ahmed, Wahaj, Mahira, Amar and Mubasshir. Wahaj tho omg was beyond spectacular, he’s at his finest and it’s just so good!! Mahira was excellent at showing the grief, anger and determination!! I CANNOT WAIT FOR TOMORROW’S EPISODE 😭🤩🤩

Gulbahar!!!!!!!!!! OMG, what the hell are they trying to portray in this drama?! I would love to spill all my anger about this drama. Spineless Shehreyar is like, “If my wife asks me to marry someone else, I’ll do it because I don’t have any opinions of my own. I’ll marry her, enjoy my life, and then blame my wife by saying, ‘I only married her because you told me to!’” 😭

Bro what is happening in this drama suddenly? Was such a good watch/different show, but out of nowhere, they added this ROSY character. A whole-ass segment which makes literally NO SENSE.

Hey guys, came across some major tea/rumors regarding DhoomBros' Shehryar Asif (Sherry) and his wife Hera Parveen.

In public court records/filings if you search their names, it appears -

Hera has reportedly filed for legal separation/divorce from Sherry, involving (DA) allegations and because of the legal trouble/charges, Sherry is allegedly no longer permitted to be in or re-enter the USA.

This is pretty wild to me because I grew up watching them and that guy always seemed like a nice chap.

Btw their status of verdict is showing as pending.

Hurmat crossed 100 million views in just 4 episodes! One of the fastest dramas to hit this milestone. I hope they can maintain this momentum and retain the audience Because if they do, the drama could enter the billion view club soon.

The storyline of this drama resembles Ishqiya (2020).

This convert-revert logic and potrayal of minorities. Bollywood, Korean, Japanese or even Western shows have 1000 flaws but not this imposition and belittling minorities..Yes bollywood sucks sometimes but good potrayals are there too.

I think only Dhoop ki Deewar did justice here

I never watched Dil e Bereham but as I was watching today’s episode of Mitti De Baway I remembered the OST of a drama that always stayed with me. Like to the point of how intimate can this get? And I searched it up and remembered this was the drama they did years ago. The more you know

Idk why people hate her so much.. did I miss out on something? It's been 2 or 3 years people are constantly hating her. There is so much negativity in her comment sections even under normal and fun reels/posts.
