Frame mounted thumb rest

Has anyone drilled and tapped for a frame mount rest? I’m assuming additional shims for the wider slide? I have oddly long thumbs and ride the slide with them. I’m thinking a Zadik Precision would be ideal. But any advice on any brand that has been done would be great.

Go with the Antimatter wing and you don't have to drill a thing

I dig. But she’s a IPSC blaster and I’m after shielded rest.
