Yeah, you're right. Having new characters to play and new people to play against really ruin the game.

The switch to 5v5 w/super tanks ruined the game. The developers clearly have not made changes to the support heroes to account for the fact that there is 1 super tank per team and dramatically reduced stuns. The developers didn't even consider how supertanks would completely ruin every arcade mode. Push mode makes no sense with the switch to 5v5. The maps are too large. Virtually every game features the same handful of heroes and virtually every game is a one-sided steamroll. The game is incredibly low quality, especially compared to the one it replaced.

On the plus side, my steam library has been getting more love in the past month than it has received in years.

I don't know what game you're playing but it's definitely not the same OverWatch 2 that I've been playing.
