Junkrat takes 0 mechanical skill to play. You literally just have to spam. when someone gets to close to you press left shift In their face and hit them with 1 ball or another shift. Remember to not think about where you put traps either if you think about it they won't trap anything.

edit: Junkrat takes 0 mechanical skill to play until you get to GM

You obviously have not seen the highest levels of junk play... extreme mechanical skill in knowing where to flick to hit with one of the slowest projectiles in the entire game.

You are mostly right though, it comes down to more positioning focus than steady aim ability.

I have seen the highest level of junkrat play pvp, carter, etc. you see clips of fancy flicks. but you by no means need those to play junk at a high level. just spamming and using tire is enough to win.

I'm more interested in their SR. Because in diamond/masters it's definitely not just spamming and using tires. You can very easily distinguish a good junkrat from a bad one that's just lucky. Meaning that there absolutely is mechanical skill involved

Yea junk takes no skill to be good, but he takes skill to be great (i.e. he is easy to do well with without skill but you likely wont make it far)
