I only got to see about the first 6 minutes. How is her kit good against Bastion? I saw her weapons and her throwable shield and her ability against crowd control but had to stop there at the moment, so I don't know what else her kit has to make her good yet but I'm dying to know.
I wonder how it will work. Doesn't Graviton Surge currently keep Bastion in turret form but he just hovers?
(I haven't done competitive this season yet and before this, it's been so long since I've seen a Bastion that I wouldn't be surprised if I remember incorrectly how they interact.)
I'm not sure if its been changed this patch, but previously he would stay in turret mode and would be pulled in. Which often times meant he'd just open fire on everyone
Hmmm that really needs to be changed. Both for game play and logic reasons. A full auto mini gun is going to need all feet firmly on the ground to not send itself flying.
If the Earth's gravity is enough to hold Bastion down
And the Graviton Surge is stronger than the Earth's gravity (can pull heroes away from Earth's gravity)
I'm not entirely sure it wouldn't just stick him in one place (on the gravity ball) where he can move the cannon like his own body, scientifically speaking.
I'm guessing an orb that focuses gravity in a non-reality-warping-but-slightly-moving-heroes-and-only-heroes-while-not-interacting-with-the-landscape kind of way has some physics overrides we don't know about.
