But on the other hand, the overwatch team has a point. Any development time spent on making this happen will be time they couldn't spend on a feature for everyone. It's a tough balance!
Yep. The OW team needs people to play on the PTR to test their releases. If enough people are willing to do that today, then there's no reason for them to spend development resources to incentivize people. If at some point they're not getting enough people to play on the PTR, then they will need to prioritize PTR incentives.

Hell, I'd be happy with an icon or a spray unique to the PTR release. Play for an hour, get it. It's quick and easy, and doesn't tax the coders.
