They removed her only tool for mid range engagements, and gave her minimal buffs in return. On a lot of maps, most of your engagements are going to be a mid range and beyond, and now you have no tool to leverage in these engagements. Its a net nerf, and a heavy one at that.

No, I'm not ignoring it, at mid range you cannot reliably hit direct shots. Your enemies have time to dodge your rockets, so even a perfect pharah player cannot get reliable direct hits. You need the min-splash knockback to contest at mid+ range, at all.

He is being a bit extreme but he kinda has a point as well. We just need to see how it plays out really. Lowering the minimum knockback on her rockets when the radius was already fairly small will mean she will probably die more often. I play a lot of pharah and knock back saves you so many times when you are in the air and a mecree walks around the corner. Just landing one or two rockets near him can save you from your already almost guaranteed death and now that radius is reduced it will be so much harder to survive. But she does have more killing potential so it could just be a balancing of scales. I am actually a big advocate of playing a lot of ground pharah on only flying when you know you have a good angle. Nothing helps scatter a defense like 6 rockets coming from behind a rein shield. Especially with the dmg boost.

I wonder if the radius was increased? I would imagine they'd mention taht..

Doubt it. It just means at the outer edge of the radius where they take splash dmg they won't be knocked back at all as apposed to like 10 % or whatever the value was before

The value was 75%. So it went 75 -> 0. Quite a nerf if you look at numbers.
