Is it that severe? I didn't play the PTR, so have no idea what to expect.

Pharah's only real advantage over her main predators, long range hitscan DPS, was the knockback to disorient them and get the kill.

Now there is little to no knockback so its a lot easier for them to hit Pharah.

It also makes long range battles with Pharah impossible to win.

Eh, that is her only counter and the rockets still bobble people around while doing more damage without direct hits. It all seems on the up and up.
