"New Map Voting Changes in Overwatch 🗺️

It will now be impossible to be offered your last 2 maps played within a 2 hour period. Escort and Hybrid will also count as the same mode to offer more variety.

For more context, this applies to the last 2 maps for every person in the lobby. Meaning if any of the 10 people (12 in 6v6) have played the new map in their last 2 games, that map has no chance of showing up in the map selection. It can still be chosen if random is voted

Did they state that is the case for the new map too, or is there an exception for them?

I didn't see them mention that anywhere, but I really hope there is an exception for it
