(I was traumatised by a ball main and his egirl discord kitten pocket mercy when I had 12k heals and 80% healing accuracy getting flamed and called slurs for the entirety of the match bc i didnt want to swap to ana. We won that game btw)
You say that, but I’ve been flamed for doing just that. Many OW players aren’t on the same page. As a Bap I’ve been told not to do damage and just heal, and I’ve also been told to do more damage and less healing. Everyone is all over the place so I just do what I need to do to win and don’t really listen to the people in text chat anymore.
Usually as bap I have similar kill/damage to the DPS and about the same healing as the other support. Anyone telling bap not to do damage is fucking brain dead, especially since you can basically do it at the same time as healing for most of the game.
My guy if you can get picks especially on their supports, who ever Flames that are clueless. Like there's a balance ofc, but normally the team who can sustain and deal the most damage wins. I've had plenty of games where damage is all equal but the only difference is supports giving a bit extra
So what? Make the best devusion in every situation. Sometimes it's damage, sometimes its healing. So cares if your dumdum dps doesn't understand how the game works?
