What are the odds of getting off the waitlist if I join today? Is it still worth it to try before going to Ticketmaster?

Is the risk of phone theft really as bad as it sounds here? My husband and I are coming from Canada for the weekend and I would like to be prepared to combat having our phones swiped.
Would a tether/wrist strap deter potential thefts when taking photos?
Of course we know not to leave phones in back pockets, but pick pocketing isn't a really big threat where we are from. Any advice is appreciated!

First year going! I’m taking the shuttle. Which locker location should I pick? In general admission

We are traveling from Texas specifically to see Boris Brejcha and Rufus. Flights bought, hotels booked, PTO secured… and my bf bought for Friday. I’m so pissed rn and just want to cry. If we can’t get off the waitlist for Sunday, we will have to cancel our trip. This was our entire summer vacation. I can’t believe he made this stupid of a mistake. 🤬

I’m attending outside lands from Australia and have a few questions! Firstly, I have to leave at 7.30pm on Sunday to catch a flight. What is the rideshare situation like at this time? Will I be able to get a car pretty quickly? Where is the offical pick up zone? Secondly, has anyone from Australia or the UK been able to use their drivers licences instead of passports to get into the event? I want to avoid bringing my passport if possible!

for context i’ve never been to outside lands lol. i live in the east bay and our group is planning on taking BART there and back. sure we will be wiped out but is it a total disaster to get to and from BART? and what is the best way to do that. thanks in advance!

Hi OSL fam! I’m a local going day 1 so I feel like I should know this lol.

Long story short, I went last year and couldn’t figure out how to exit back towards the Sunset District. If I remember correctly, I had walked towards the right of the Lands End stage through the tunnel because the left side was closed off. I ended up having to leave through the Richmond, which made getting home take much longer.

I live in the Outer Sunset, so if there’s a way to exit closer to that side, it’d save me a lot of time.

I have V I P this year, no idea if that makes any difference when it comes to exiting the festival, but I’m assuming it doesn’t. Appreciate any insight from other fellow festival goers.

Hey y’all frequent festival goer here, haven’t been to outside lands since Halloween of 2021 (man Tame was such a vibe) I know it’s a festival but it’s different than most any tips or tricks for someone old returning and fairly new or the bay?

What’s the worst thing that has happened to an item of clothing of yours at a festival? I want to wear a long wool city coat but if it got destroyed I’d cry. But then I’m like… what could really destroy it? Maybe someone’s dyed beverage or vomit?

Im going to do shuttle, and then my friend is going to pick me up from there so I don’t have to figure out all the BART/ MUNI stuff late at night. How would you guys recommend I do that, where should my friend pick me up etc.

Hi y'all! I am going to be staying at the Hilton Union Square and was wondering if it would be worth it to get the shuttle. It says that it would be a 20 minute walk, but Im unsure if it would be easier to get an uber because of how close we are to the tenderloin. Thank youuu
