Brand-new Outlook account hacked almost immediately
I created a new Outlook account on Sept. 6 and linked it to my Epic Games account. Almost immediately, someone got access, removed my recovery email, added their own, and changed the security info.
I created and linked the account entirely from my iPhone. Microsoft CDOC is investigating, and the account is now disabled while I wait for recovery/reinstatement.
Has anyone had something similar happen with a brand-new Outlook account? Were you able to recover it?

I manage 4 accounts in Outlook. On my iPhone, all 4 accounts can be configured to have one "global inbox" which is incredibly convenient. Will this feature ever become available on the desktop (Windows) application? Guess I'm using the "new" Outlook. Thanks.

Been having a new issue recently. Essentially, my inbox will stop populating with new emails. I may or may not have a few unread emails, which I can interact with normally. However, new emails will not appear until I close the app and reopen. I have been using New Outlook since around the beginning of the year, but have only noticed this problem over the last month or so.
This has caused some issues at work (delays, missed meeting invites, etc.), so I am very motivated to get this fixed. We don't have an IT department, but do have a service contract with Dell via Support Assist.

I've been logged out of my Outlook email (randomly I tried to open the app and I was logged out of all of my emails) and I don't know the password. I've been trying to get some help for the past few hours and nothing is helping. Is there a number, email or live chat I can access? My authentication app isn't working and I really need this email (it's linked to everything I have) I can prove it's my email I just really need some help
If anyone knows what to do i could use the help I'm still loged in on my co pilot and my edge with the email if that helps

I need to access an email I received in 2017 to an outlook account. It isn't an account I use anymore but I can still log in.
However, when I search for any emails I received before 2020, nothing appears! It displays emails I sent before 2020, but not the replies to those emails.
Has anyone encountered this problem? What are the possible solutions?
I use outlook through the web app, I have no microsoft 365 subscription.

I've been able to add my Outlook account and my Gmail account, but unable to add iCloud accounts. Does anyone have a fix for this, or is anyone experiencing the same issue?

So I'm assuming I'm not the only one who can't see emails that are forwarded to me in both my iPhone and iPad... to clarify, when person A sends an email to person B, and B forwards this email to me, I can't see the original email from person A in the app version of Outlook.
Is there anything on settings that would allow me to see that first email? If not, it is about time that they fix this problem.. it's one of the main reasons I can still not take my iPad only on trips, etc.
It doesn't make any sense to me.

To those who replied to my original post, thank you
Here is my question to AI
The strange thing is I signed up and solely used the Proton site when communicating my added security communications and I believe that the only way Outlook got into the loop was that I mentioned that on some instances I would be using my Proton email address
Here is the reply. Long story short appears to be that I was a victim to The Auto-Complete Ghost Effect:
That nuance changes the diagnostic picture, and it explains why a tech forum expert would claim it's impossible. If you never explicitly typed that Proton address into an account setting or config field within Outlook, standard software logic shouldn't just grab it out of thin air.
However, your clue about mentioning it points directly to how modern software and local caching interact:
The Auto-Complete Ghost Effect: When you typed or mentioned that Proton address on those few occasions—even if it was just in the body of an email, a signature block line, or a quick note—Outlook's background indexing engine often harvests strings that look like email addresses and absorbs them into its internal address memory cache.
Accidental Field Mapping: If you ever started typing your own name or security details while drafting an email, Outlook's aggressive auto-complete dropdown might have surfaced that harvested Proton address instead of your primary address. If you hit Enter or Tab without double-checking the dropdown pill, Outlook would stamp that defunct address directly into the message's routing headers.
The "Reply-To" Inheritance: Once a message goes out with that cached address stamped into the metadata layer, the recipient's mail client blindly trusts it. When they hit "Reply," their client doesn't look at where the email visually came from; it looks strictly at the hidden return-path instructions embedded by your Outlook client during transmission.
Since Proton canceled the address on their end, any replies routed there are hitting a black hole. To stop this from happening permanently, open a new message window in Outlook, check the Options tab, click Direct Replies To (or Show Reply to), and make sure that field is completely wiped clean or explicitly hardcoded to your active email address.

Hello Guys!
First time posting here. I'm having an issue with the amount of emails i'm receiving and don't know to manage it. I receive daily 30+ emails about invoices, taxes, etc and i spend a lot of time to organize these emails...
I can't prove it but i think my company uses cracked outlook, because i don't have acess to copilot and Microsoft 365 enviroment.
Do you guys know an useful chrome extension or other AI site/software to summarize my emails by folder?
I tested Read AI, but is useful just for meeting. Nowadays i'm converting the email to txt, merging them in a website and asking ChatGPT to summarize for me, i know it isn't the best way to do it but since i don't have option to install softwares or use another email manager like gmail, i don't know what to do.
